Pets at Home Uttoxeter

Awful conditions for the poor fish. No substrate for the catfish, algae suckers so they always look starved. Dead fish half eaten in a tank, and a fish found inside the filtration tanks underneath. Told they check them once a month! So that fish will be dead then, and spreading that disease to all the other tanks. Also apparently temperate tanks don't exist as putting an octocinclus with variatus platies is a no no and told the platies are cold water? So refused to sell them to us, even though few days before it was fine for pairing with my wcmm which are also temperate fish! Check their ranges, octos are 20 to 26 so my 22 degree tank is no good? Awful advice, don't take temperature ranges into account whatsoever, don't feed them properly, treat them right, and full of pest snails. Will never buy a fish from here again.

Excellent very helpful staff

Very helpful staff member Mille sorted out my issue with my dogs food subscription. This was not even my local store who would of just told me to go to the live chat and sort it out myself. The customer service I received was top very polite and knew exactly what I needed to do.Thank you very much!

It was busy but a member of staff took me to one side as I wanted to sign up for the monthly flea treatment, very quickly delt with, staff very friendly

The staff here are honestly unbelievable. I've been going in for a while now and they are the most lovely people. They can't do enough for you. They're really good with my dog and they always want to help and give as much advise as they can. Not met 1 bad member of staff. All good people

Good well stocked shop, staff are willing to help and give advice.Prices are expensive and can be purchased leads the half of the price at other places
