The White Horse
Very much enjoyed our visit on Saturday lunchtime. Proper traditional old pub, nothing fancy but clean, bright and well presented. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, not too many customers today. The staff were speedy and professional while still interacting amicably with customers, many clearly locals. The food was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. A number of posters advertising upcoming events were on display. A great pub - we'll be back quite soon!

Absolutely delicious food. Popped in for lunch and didn't regret it one bit. Great menu selection, fresh produce and whilst traditional pub food, what makes it so good is that it's homemade with a contemporary twist. First class; good portions, top quality, with a very friendly and welcoming licensee and staff. Definitely going back for more, along with our Sunday lunch!

We were delighted to find this hidden gem of a pub. The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious with generous portions. The desserts were amazing!! All in all great value for money. This place deserves the full support of the locals to ensure it continues to thrive.

Excellent food that was piping hot and great service. Dogs welcome too, which we love and great outside space too. Will be our local but would recommend to anyone who asks. I had gf cod and chips hubby had steak and chips

Reasonable food, reasonable service but hugely overpriced for what you're getting.I had a chicken breast with vegetables at £17.50 and was anticipating something exceptional at that price point and was left disappointed. I also had a desert at £7.50, again, nothing exceptional. The food was perfectly acceptable and enjoyable but the overpricing doesn't make it great value and has made it a venue I won't return to.

We had an amazing lunch here. We were warmly welcomed and everyone was very friendly. We opted for the Club Sandwich which was massive! The ingredients were all fresh and it tasted great. All washed down with a few pints of Ghost Ship while sitting in the nice beer garden. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

I just had one of the best meals I’ve ever had at the White Horse.Teriyaki tuna steak stir fry. I will order it again and highly recommend this pub, the food, staff and service are all brilliant.

Outstanding pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely lunch in a beautiful room. Great garden too. Our 4 dogs made very welcome. Recommended!

This is a great pub with very good food in good portions! The owners are very welcoming and also very efficient. We came as a group of 7 walkers and they looked after us very well!! Highly recommended as is the flexible menu with lots of choices!

Great Atmosphere - The staff were Super friendly, welcoming and we enjoyed having conversations with them - we ordered the beef burger with a side of onion rings and it was amazing! It was on our table within 15mins and cooked perfectly! The onion ring were massive!!!Great quality and definitely worth the price!Highly recommend and well deserved of the 5 stars we gave!We are on hoilday here but if we are in the area again then this is the first place we will come!
