Just an magic place. One of the very oldest running pub next to an open view to sea and harbour. Very friendly locals and plenty choices of drinks.Just loved my pints there!6*

Delightful welcoming unpretentious pub with good atmosphere offering straight forward food and good choice of beverages. Outside areas good for children. We felt comfortable from arrival to reluctantly leaving.

Was taken here for my birthday as it was a 4 and a half star restaurant. I really don't understand how it got this rating as the service and the standard of food was appalling. The women that severed us was rude. I over heard her being rude to another table also. She didn't seem to have the time of day for her customers. My son recieved a pizza which had green mould on the day and when questioned was told pizza bases were made fresh on the day. They definitely are not. My daughter had the kids chicken nuggets and chips. She was being fussy with her nuggets so I tried one and the were horrible and slimy. As to say we weren't happy and it was a very disappointing birthday meal. Will not be back here again.

Much had changed since I was last here in 2016. Then it was just a white building but now it's had a paint job with nice new fishing boat mural on the gable wall, a walled garden and pergolas put in with tables outside. Still the same oldey worldy little bar at front I remember. Had sausage egg and chips on special and just thinking of how good it was makes me want it again right now! You should visit even if passing through on your travels.

Very disappointed. Last time we visited in autumn last year, we were very happy with the standard of the meals and my family lived playing pool. Unfortunately the pub is undergoing a refit and is now half the size with no pool table.Three of us ate, and fair enough the meals were very reasonably priced. However, we had sausage and mash and the mash looked like scrambled eggs and the sausage was burnt. We all left without finishing our meals.We are locals and won't be visiting again. It's a shame.

No gluten free but very accommodating when I asked for baked potato! Done perfectly, crispy skin and plenty of cheese. My partners pizza was apparently amazing. Cute inside and great views from beer garden

One of the best bar lunches we've ever had. Fantastic value, great pub,friendly service. Pretty much perfect.
