It's the best place to get a view of the One o'clock Gun. Beautiful gardens that help you sit back, relax and enjoy some me-time.

History tells us that 'Royal Scots Greys' was a cavalry regiment of the British Army.  This monument represents bronze statue of a Royal Scots Dragoon Guard and was unveiled in 1906 in the memory of the regiment's contribution in the two world wars. The monument amplifies the beauty of the well maintained gardens.

Makes me want to read his poems and novels. Politically a hero.

When you see this monument here in Edinburg. You can just hang out here right beside this monument is a park that you can see the Castle and the Cathedral from a far. Good place to take pictures and just chill for a while. Ediburg is a must visit place.

This equestrian bronze depicts a Royal Scots Dragoon Guard (Carabinier and Greys) in uniform with bearskin hat, sword and rifle, it is by William Birnie Rhind (1853 - 1933) and was unveiled by the Earl of Rosebery on the 16th November 1906. The eagle insignia on the plaque was adopted by the regiment, after Ensign Ewart captured it from the French at the battle of Waterloo in 1815. Plaques to commemorate the regimental fallen in two World Wars, 1914 -18 and 1939 - 45 were added later
