What a great campsite. Beautiful location. Red kites flying over site constantly! Fires available. Electric available. The owner lives onsite in a nearby house and accessible via mobile number (was very helpful when there was a problem on site, whilst I was there). Fridge and freezer for shared use. Showers with hot water and toilets cleaned daily. Glamping is available, too. 8 yurts and a shepherd's hut.One field. Was lovely watching children of all ages play together.Nearest supermarket less than a mile away. Sells Ice.Wednesday is pop-up pizza night next to church in the village.Thursday is award winning fish and chip van night.Highly recommend. Will come back.

Campsite has lots of pitches and space which is great, with a beautiful view. However paid £30 a night for 2 people with no electricity, which we feel is overpriced for the site and amenities. The pitches with power were flat, however the non powered pitches where on a sloped grass area. The camp only has 4 showers, for the camping and glamping tents. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. There is no reception to check-in. All bookings are taken online. Once paid you are given a code to open the gate. So please book prior to arrival.Pub next door which is great.Mobile reception at the camp ground is also very good.

Loved it. Very peaceful campsite. Great views across the chilterns. The amount of kestrels and red kites to be seen is amazing. Showers and toilets are ok. Fridge freezer for freezer blocks. Washer dryer available too if you want it. Electric hook ups available. The only downside is that the camping field is on a bit of a slope so you need to choose wisely where you pitch your tent.

Beautiful location unfortunately we only stayed 1 night as a layover. Stayed in 1 of the Bell tents which was fine, with plenty of room. The toilets were a short distance away and were clean and presentable. As far as I could tell these were the only toilet facilities for the whole site and as such would imagine some queuing would be required during the height of the season.

We spent two nights here last weekend. The owner (Andy?) was unavailable on the phone and our electric hook up didn't work properly. When the nice chap, a long term tenant, next to our pitch helped us daisy chain our cable to a further away hook up point he promptly got electrocuted. The electrics need condemning, repairing and then properly testing. The showers also didn't work on the Saturday morning and the light didn't work in the shower which did have any natural light. The wasn't anyone there to check us in/out, and nobody to call when things went wrong. Compared to other sites we've stayed at, this was a big disappointment.

Nice campsite which is well laid out and not over booked. However, you can only book for 2 nights as a minimum which is a shame. I noticed most of the other campers also arrived and left after 1 night. Seems to be a deliberate decision to increase the pitch-price.Disappointing that the electricity when out on the Sunday morning which meant the lights in the toilets / showers didn’t work, nor did the actual showers. Finally, the campsite is incredibly close to a pub which was great but the opening hours of the pub didn’t suit camping (not open until 12 on Sunday) when I’m sure many would have gone for breakfast. Not the fault of the campsite but a missed opportunity.Overall, great communication, decent layout, facilities fine but some parts weren’t as good as they could have been.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here a few weeks ago and it was idyllic! Andy was extremely helpful and professional. The site is large with gorgeous views. You can rent a firepit and logs of wood very easily and the showers and toilets are great too. Nice pubsnearby as well as some lovely walks to be had. Highly recommend! :)

Cold February stay , motorhome for 2 + dog.The plusses:There are Fantastic views from this site across the Chilterns here and some lovely walks locally, but sadly that's the best of it.The minuses:No water at the campers kitchen, shower rooms were spotless but freezing cold and showers were Luke warm at best.( Main reason for the 3*) This would probably not be a problem in the summer although if the site were full I think there might be a queue as there are only 3 showers. It would be worth noting that if you are camping the field is on a fairly steep slope. The laundry is pretty expensive and during our stay only accepted £2 coins. As we didn't have £10 worth we were unable to do our washing which was disappointing. However, this site ,though a little pricy, is open all year which is a bonus and sitting with a cuppa watching the kites " dancing overhead in the winters sun was a joy so we would visit again."

Lovely, simple campsite with gorgeous views over the valley and up to Bledlow Ridge. what stopped it getting 5* was the shower we had early in the morning where we couldn't get the temperature to a comfortable level although having said that a couple we spoke to said their showers were plenty warm for them. We would go again quite happily.
