Visit Haddington website indicates a very good choice of yarn and patterns. No yarn available to buy, person in shop not forthcoming about when they might get some in and did not seem bothered about being misrepresented on Haddington website. Seemed to be a good range of pre cut material but that's not what I was there for this trip. Owner/person in shop had dog (on a lead) with them. Disappointed.

I found the whole experience here shocking and disappointing. As a young sewer I found the owner condescending and often rude when I was asking questions about fabrics. She had no interest in making a sale from me, which for such a tiny (and messy) shop was surprising as she can't have a lot of business! I walked out and took my business elsewhere. Shame she doesn't take pride in her attitude towards customers or her shopfront.

Super little shop which I always check first before casting my net wider. Often surprised by what I do find. Helpful, informative and friendly staff without the ubiquitous and ghastly customer service veneer which has become so normalised nowadays. Just refreshingly authentic folk.

Contacted the shop and spoke with a sales lady (Ann-Marie). Contrary the a review post by another shopper I found the lady to be extremely please , helpful and obliging. She even took the time to search the shop's pattern stock and identify a choice of patterns in the size I was looking for. All this done over the phone too. Thank you Ann Marie

A shop packed with exciting material, yarn, wool and many accessories! I especially appreciate that the owner will order in colours and fabrics if there's something you need, and that they have stayed open late to allow me to collect orders. All our Guide fleece blankets come from Fabrication - they are ace!
