I grew up in Binley, the marsh has really been left to go to waste. Overgrown with the tracks and bridges rotting and decaying. It is not maintained at all in any way shape or form.It used to be a great area where I have so many memories. It was dissapointing to see it in such a state

There are some areas that need a good litter pic and also a few trees that have fire damage need sorting but for the most part it's very nice for being next to a A road and a built up housing estate.

Lovely short walk, lots of friendly dog walkers. Grassy little woodlands that is tucked away in a fairly urban area.

Great for the local and visitor alike as it's a unique space built on an old slate mine. Follow it around under the subway to find a unique entrance to Brandon wood.

Claybrookes Marsh Nature Reserve
Lovely urban nature reserve. Little gem in the area, was slightly shocked how nice it was. Fantastic for fungi, moss and lichen. No carpark but you can park on the residential road next to the entrance. Good place to walk the dogs. Bin at entrance only.

Really nice, quiet place to walk. There are wild rabbits. Lots of very uneaven ground so be careful if you have mobility difficulties.

Great area to explore both kids and dogs but be warned.. It's muddy and a bit stinky in places.
