Battle of Worcester
Lovely walk along the Teme and Severn rivers. You’ll be walking along the ‘Monarch Way’ by the Old Powick bridge which was part of Charles II’s escape route and where the Battle of Worcester took place in the English Civil war. Be warned if you are dog walking that there is livestock along the walk and can be quite muddy. We usually park on Weir Lane and start near the Diglis footbridge and work our way towards Old Powick bridge for about an hours trundling. Good walk in the fresh air.

Battle of Worcester
We went there with my children 5 and 10yrs old, last two parts to the old Powick Bridge are leading through cows field! Bulls weren't really happy that we are there on our bikes. Farmers shouldn't let them be there on the middle of the footpaths...
