One of the worst places I have ever been for customer service. Staff were rude and very unhelpful!! We were turned away at the door because we didn’t have a booking (all we wanted was a drink) when asking when would the next space would be available we were told ‘don’t know to be honest, you need a booking’ We left and made a booking online which got accepted. When returning they asked if we had a booking to which we said yes. The woman behind the desk asked us if we were in earlier and we said we were. She replied to say you can’t do that. When we asked why we were told you can’t be told you can’t come in without a booking then make a booking and come back???? Me and my husband were both gob smacked with what she was saying. We were trying to support our local establishments but went opposite to the aubrey instead where we were greeted with a smile, had excellent service and food. Will not be returning and will be advising all our friends and family to stay away!

Went for my mum's birthday lovely food and staff were friendly, excellent service despite being rushed off their feet. My kids really enjoy going and they always eat all their meal so they also get ice cream!

When we booked we didn’t realise there was a quiz. It was noisy and very off-putting for a meal. Not everything was available on the menu, the server didn’t tell us when they sat us down, was discovered when on the app to order.The server was very nonchalant, just he didn’t give a monkey when serving our food (which came out 1 by 1 for 4 of us with a few minutes inbetween). He just mumbled at us and seemed so disinterested. No knives and forks, had to hunt them down. Chicken burger was dry and disappointing. No one came to ask us about our meal. My friend had hunters chicken and chips with so few chips. When paying nearly £20 a head for a meal and a drink I would have expected a far far better meal and service. The heating was on when it was warm enough so ended up outside to quickly drink our drinks and go home. We expected far better and feel such a waste of money.

We were greeted promptly by a member of staff in a friendly and professional manner. We were showed the different ways we could order. We ordered via the QR code and it was fast and easy to use and easy to customise your order. Our food arrived quickly, and was very tasty.This was one of the first times taking our 14 month old out to eat where he could have something off the menu. I liked the idea of a menu for younger kids and one for older kids as my son won't eat typical kids food such as chicken nuggets and chips. He thoroughly enjoyed his pasta, mashed potato's, and beans (odd combo, but he loved it!) It was also nice that he could run around in the little playground outside before his food came, so he wasn't stuck in a highchair, which he can get fed up in fast.The restaurant and toilets were very clean. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was nice that the staff brought a highchair to us. Often I've had to get one myself in other places, which is fine if I'm with someone else but a hassle if I'm on my own.Overall, very happy with how our visit went and we will definitely be back!

Staff were friendly, they were happy enough to allow the kids to be loud and happy. We were given monopoly to play which was an awesome touch. Clean and cheerful atmosphere. Food was good too. I have no complaints for our first visit

Place continues to be our favourite haunt. The people are wonderful, and the food is amazing. One day though they'll learn that those San Miguel glasses leave a hell of a mess.

We all had different things and everything was perfect, even my partners steak on his mixed grill was cooked exactly to his liking and he even struggled to finish it. Would highly recommend and we will be back for my birthday in October if not before.

The light lunch was beyond light, 10 chips and hunters chicken so thin it barely existed. At £8.25 it was not worth having but the starter and desert at £2.25 each was excellent value, but it all tasted lovely and the service was excellent. I realise it was a light lunch but we've never had such a tiny light lunch from you before.

We went here for the first time and had the most amazing experience. We were served by Scott who was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The garlic pizza bread starter was the best we have ever tasted. The mains were succulent and amazing flavour and fresh. Truly the most amazing meal and service is top notch. Cannot rate highly enough. Well done. Top classWill definitely be back!

We booked here for a low key 80th birthday party for 16 members of the family. I cannot fault the service Phoebe was excellent and ensured everything ran smoothly. It was well organised, the food as always was great and the atmosphere relaxed. Would highly recommend a visit.
