Holiday Cottages and B&B 2021 near Durham, Beamish, Newcastle, Gateshead and Northumberland | April short breaks,Half Term Holiday and short breaks for 2022 Beautiful holiday cottages and bed and breakfast rooms in stunning North East locations. We have cottages in Northumberland, Beamish and Durham. Surrounded by peaceful countryside yet near all main attractions for you to explore. All our cottages are graded from 5 Star and 4 Star Gold enjoying a comfy nights sleep, fully fitted kitchens with extra treats, in converted barns,ideal base for those families which like to go walking, and cycling, routes all on our doorstep. Beamish Museum is a must whilst staying with us. Some of our cottages allow pets - please ask. Some of our cottages are suited for the less mobile and can take wheelchairs. All our cottages are child friendly with stairgates, high chairs and travel cots all supplied free of charge. Don't forget to feed the chickens while you stay with us and enjoy fresh eggs in the morning - children love it.

Cross cottage Brancepeth Durham . We have stayed at the cottage a few times in December. Perfect location and views are amazing. The cottage is roomy and caters well a family’s needs . So cosy and incredibly warm at winter here ! Vicky the host is so helpful - Thankyou

Lovely cottage, the only complaint was the bedrooms are small with limited room to get around the bed and use the draws provided and it's hard to get to the plugs in the bedroom to use hairdryer etc. Otherwise lovely place to stay.

I live near here so can't comment on the standard of Accommodation but I would be pleased if this was my holiday home. Great location. Loads of lovely walks and close to Durham City and nearby market towns.

Just heading back to London after a beautiful week at Cross Cottage on Little White Farm. Such a lovely cottage. Warm, cosy, stylish, super clean and comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need for our holiday. The beds, pillows, linens were all really comfortable and good quality as were the toiletries. David and Vicki live next door and were super helpful if needed - invisible if not. Peaceful but only 3 miles from Durham - there are supermarkets much closer. We visited Newcastle, Beamish, the Angel of the North, Durham Castle & Cathedral and took lovely walks in the surrounding open spaces. We couldn’t recommend a stay here enough.

Excellent accommodation, would recommend for location of Durham, Beamish, Raby castle and many other lovely places to visit. Great facilities at the cottage.

Fantastic cottage complex on a working farm. Beautiful cottage, great location for walking, cycling and tourism. Very amenable owners and ideal safe place for children.
