Beaumont Forest

This place was recommended to me for my garden DIY project. Its first and foremost a tradesmen offering but is also open to the public. Their website is not updated and no-one returns your requests for a quote or info! I nevertheless wasn't put off by this and visited myself to better understand the products/services. They deliver for free for all orders over £250 inc vat. I've used them many times now and the quality of the product is excellent even if their admin is some way off what you'd hope for. I'm not sure what they'll do when the next generation of tradesman use APPS and want to order everything online. They will need to invest more into online and their website/admin but some would say the old fashion over the counter and in-person experience shouldn't be lost. I'll keep buying from them but only because its local and convenient to me.

I have used this company many times, but after my last visit (11-09-2020) I will never use them again !! the old guy on the gate is very rude and swears a lot front on client :/ !! very unprofessional approach to the client !!! the guy should think about changing job!!!

This place is so unprofessional. If you want to be served by children this is the place to go. High wycombe store is so much better. I'm seeking advice on the way my wife was treated.

The only reason I have given 4 stars is because I filled in an online quote form and they never got back to me. When I phoned for a quote the service I received from Deborah was 1st class, she phoned me back within 5 minutes with my quote. My order was delivered 1st thing this morning the delivery driver was quick, efficient and placed the order on my part of the drive as I share a driveway, he was also friendly. I would definitely use again. My shed can now have it's much needed face lift and repair.

Definitely the place to go for timber. Competitive pricing and much better quality timber than from builders' merchants. Friendly and helpful staff, both in the office and yard.

Rude manager. Extremely poor communication. Couldn't give a monkey's that they affected my business but giving the wrong information. I will never use them again. They need to drop the attitude and take account for their mistakes

good place for timber, for joe public. I wanted 15mm hardwood ply. The web site said only 12mm or 18mm... but they actually had 15mm...so worth asking

Sales staff always ready and willing to help with a smile on the phone. The delivery guy to us today was amazing. His skill with that truck and HiAb was something else. Well done everyone much appreciated. Ray Poynter

Although the guys in the yard are helpful, nearly always, some of the guys in the store would benefit from a change of career. Additionally, I'm sure their revenue would increase if they found the time to display prices.

This place has gone SERIOUSLY down hill since being part of Timber Group. They have kids serving and taking orders who know nothing about the products they sell and who are surly & rude- the service now is just P@@@ poor. Beaumont's used to be a great professional reliable place to get all your timber products with staff who were helpful and knew what they were doing. It seems they've kept one or two older knowledgeable staff from before and replaced everyone else with younger cheaper muppets. NOT impressed & wont be shopping here again unless I am desperate. A real shame.
