I’ve been renting with Sherlock Homes for a number of years now. I can honestly say i’ve never had any issues with them. They are professional and do anything they can to help. Anyone looking to rent in the Stoke-on-Trent area should seriously consider them when looking to rent a property.

Don't bother trying to use this company. No staff to do viewings during the day, don't open evenings and weekends. They ask for £250 for a background check / credit check, and then want a guarantor as well. And when questioned why as im 38 only renting as i have sold a house and waiting on a new build, the staff could only say we don't know if your going to pay your rent". What was the £250 for? Oh yes a background check"

Been a tenant of theirs for 4 years. Best agency I've ever been with. Courteous staff, helpful, and very proffesional. Regular inspections throughout the year. Safety checks always carried out. Would recommend to tenants and landlords.

Accommodating and helpful. Great staff, especially Ben, who was willing to stay after hours to help us move into our new place, a couple of days before the contract started.

I have been with Sherlock Homes for over 1 & half years. The move in process was very simple and Sherlock homes made it very clear and stress free. The property we wanted to move into had 2 or 3 repairs we wanted and Sherlock got them all completed ready for us to move in quickly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We didn't feel rushed or pressured and they offered us other properties to view which actually matched our search criteria. Some agents add on an extra hundred to the rent and show you them. Like all companies they can make little mistakes however unlike other companies, they accepted they had made a small error and apologized immediately and corrected the issue straight away. Lovely company and i would definitely recommend.

Being a new Landlord it’s important to receive good service but also assistance and advice. All agents here have been excellent. All really helpful , polite and have given great service. Resolved tenant issues and found us a new tenant really quickly. Highly recommended.

Spoke to a woman who was rude and clearly didn't think before the words she chose to use. Passed judgement from one sentence, don't even bother applying for a house if you're a couple and only one of you is in employment as they deem this not secure". Rude and need to lower your standards for property in Stoke-On-Trent

After being a student tenant with them when we told them about issues with the house they wouldn't fix anything and now we can't get a full deposit back because of illegal charges they are making and as we're students we can't afford to fight it. Only trust this service if you like being bent over backwards, neglected and robbed off money that's supposed to be protected.
