Chloe and Matt at Katie Bard have been brilliant. After submitting my CV, I received a call to begin the registration process and had secured temporary work within the week. The registration meeting is thorough and it’s clear that they’re keen to understand what you want to get out of your next role/area of work. Even after securing work, Chloe has been regularly checking in and ensuring that everything is going well. I cannot recommend them enough.

From the beginning there is a great communcation, letting you know the process. The consultants really get to know you and your needs. I began speaking with Matt D'Silva at the beginning of the month and by the end of the month, I was offered a great position with a company that Katie Bard work closely with. They do listen to what you're looking for. Best recruitment company I have worked with so far.

I’ve sent a total of 3 emails over the last week and not received a single response. You don’t get an automated confirmation your email went through so when they don’t reply, how are you supposed to know?I called at the end of business day to ask if they got either of the emails I sent in the last two days and I got a sassy “yes I understand the purpose of the call” okay mate, do you understand the purpose of the “reply” button? Because then you wouldn’t be having this conversation.I asked politely for a response in my last two emails, “I would appreciate a response even if you are unable to provide feedback at this time” and “please could you confirm you have received my CV?” Nothing.I got an Indeed request for my CV to apply for a role AT Katie Bard and I’m like … are you kidding? Work with the two people that have done nothing but frustrate me this week? Err, no thanks, I’m alright.As a business owner myself, I know what Birmingham based company won’t be recruiting my staff, I would be disgusted to hear how potential employees were treated when looking for work.They get two stars because they actually passed my CV to the right company, which is the bare minimum a recruiter can do. Congratulations, that’s probably a success in your book.

Matt supported through the whole recruitment process. I was contacted a day or two after applying and arranged a call to get to know me better and put me forward for a few roles. Matt has great communication and updated me at each stage of the process.
