I would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff at the nursery who have been exceptionally caring and supportive. However, I recently encountered a discrepancy in the nursery's operating hours. While my daughter's allotted nursery hours are officially scheduled from 8 am to 1 pm, I was informed unexpectedly that the pick-up time is 12:55 pm, contrary to the usual 12:45 pm pick-up I've consistently maintained. When discussing this matter with the nursery manager, I was made aware that although the stated hours are 8 am to 1 pm, the actual terms and conditions specify a conclusion at 12:55 pm, which was not explicitly communicated previously.I expressed concerns about the impracticality of phoning ahead when aiming to pick up my daughter at 1 pm, as it is not permissible to use the phone while driving. My worry stems from the potential charges incurred for the five-minute difference, despite it still being within the originally communicated nursery hours. This raises questions about whether the nursery communicates with the council regarding children's absences or late arrivals, particularly for those benefiting from council-funded nursery hours.I believe that the clarity on these matters would not only alleviate concerns for parents but also ensure transparency in adherence to nursery hours and potential charges, especially for those availing themselves of council-funded nursery hours.

Staff think its acceptable to drink everyday just to cope with their own children.... imagine her looking after your child.... disgusting.

Terrible company. They do NOT treat their staff well and management have a horrible attitude. Would not recommend this company as they do not care and are difficult to deal with. Had a lovely experience with the staff members however it is the managers that seem to be reluctant to do their job.

We have three children. Over the course of our parenthood we went through a number of different private nurseries. You cannot image the difference the North Edinburgh Nursery made in our life. As parents we understand the importance of providing loving, caring environment and at the same time making sure that they are developing the skills which help them in future life. However, despite understanding the importance of those points, for working parents it is always challenging to keep our smiling faces on and find time to work with them on their (reading, counting and other life) skills. The North Edinburgh Childcare took care of everything. We were very lucky to get a space in this nursery.

The staff are incompetent, my son is celiac and on two occasions they had two accidents with food and I had to hospitalize my son for a week.

Dreadful company, leaves staff with too much work to do with little support, if any at all. The staff are lovely and you can tell they are passionate about the kids, but unfortunately the lack of support given by management makes it difficult for them to work effectively. The company also treats the staff badly and ignores their needs, which is demonstrated by the high turnover of staff. Avoid.
