I visited this chippy on bank holiday Monday and the atmosphere was not very friendly. I visited it again on Friday 21 April for a small portion of chips & curry sauce. The prices was £2:30 and the amount of curry sauce was tiny and definitely NOT worth the extra £1 they were charging. The woman asked if I wanted salt and vinegar, I said no, but she put vinegar on them anyway. I said “ I didn’t want vinegar or salt” she pushed it to one side and made my order and asked if I wanted them open or wrapped I said wrapped, she thumped my order on the counter. I asked for a fork and the slammed the fork down on the counter with a really dirty look. Is this any way to treat a customer? I only went there because the other chippy was closed. I won’t be going there again the staff need training to be polite to the customers.

Absolutely disgusting. Old brown chip's and the fish was swimming in grease. tasteless watery scallops. the worst chippy ive ever eaten from.
