Went to the bar to order, no sauces on any meals (simple request), the lady stopped serving us half way through and walked off the bar. Five minutes later she came back so we asked for a tap water to which she replied 'no, I'm in the middle of sorting someone out' when we were being served, HOW RUDE. Anyway in the end she said she will bring it over and 2 hours later we still never received the water. My meal came out 5mins after ordering to which we sent it back as we are a table of 12 who all ordered on one order. We then received all of our food mine came with the piri piri sauce when we said no sauce, another was drowed in sauce so two meals got sent back to be redone. The steaks were brought out and the lady said they are both M.R and stated that we ordered wrong even though we proved on the receipt that we didn't order them Medium rare. Food all barely warm. Our 'large cokes' were smaller than a regular as we tested it out. Our food was not hitting the 75°c temp as I always being my own probe. This is an absolute tramps place. No sorry for any of it just pure attitude. Never ever again, do not come here not even if your desperate your better off eating doing poo. Also, £6.50 for the worst tiniest bit of vegetables on a stone cold flat bread???? They also then stuck a reserved table next to use so we could not get out but they didn't even clean their table as it had dirty glasses on when the people who booked it was seated!!

Called in at the Nags hoping they had the football on which they did. The pub was full. I got served at the bar straightaway the lady was so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t eat but the food look great for the price. I will definitely be returning with my family for food. Great staff

Very friendly pub / eatery.Sociable clients (at least in the daytime).Always is clean and well looked after.Very good clean beers.Nice portion of chips, whether fries or chips - there is a difference! My favourite is the petite blonde woman who serves behind the bar, very pleasant and friendly to all customers.Dogs are welcome, and there is a water dispenser, clean bowls for the water and DOG TREATS.

Saturday afternoon 18 of us enjoyed food and drinks for 7 hours. The pub was busy but the staff coped really well. I think more staff is needed. A young lady called Sophie behind the bar was excellent. She was smiling, very friendly even though they were busy. She is a credit to the team.

Wow what an outstanding pub, I much say it’s one of the best in Derby. The staff are all brilliant especially Sally, Ben and the head chef Tom. Tom specially delivered the spicy hot link sausage flat bread and it was so lovely and a big portion. The pub offers ale and they are different each week. I am most certainly looking forward to Christmas Day.

I was served by a very polite and forthcoming gentleman called Jamie. An absolute credit. I came in by myself and didn’t know what to eat or drink and he went out of his way to go through the menu with you and the meal was worth every penny. The cider was brilliant as well. I had a Mexican styled burger with nachos and a draught Thatchers Gold. I had a chocolate sundae for dessert. Really happy, thankyou again Jamie. You know what it’s nice to have someone that smiles and wants to work hard. If I had a business I would employ Jamie right away. I’ll definitely be back. I came here to celebrate and I haven’t felt lonely at all.
