We've been there last night for the quiz night. It was great fun. The bar tender did a good job - still a wee bit drunk from trying all his recommendations :-P very friendly people. Good music. Tasty beers and whisky. You can't but love this pub. If I ever get back to helensburgh I'd go there again for sure.

It was great seeing The Argyll still in business. I have not been in Helensburgh since 1992. My mother used to own the pub and I went to Clyde Street school.

Lovely place. Very welcoming. Looked after our precious chocolate labrador (who is recovering from major surgery) magnificently.We would definitely recommend .

It's a great little bar with a very good selection of beers and spirits. The staff are very polite, friendly and efficient.The bar is managed by a very nice little lady called Louise who is very pleasant and does a very professional job.

Love the Argyll such a friendly atmosphere, great staff and dog friendly. The theme night are brilliant quizzing, bingo, poker then fab weekend entertain highly recommend. Emma and Stuart are naturals. Highest praise.
