I had been concerned about a red spot on my chin that wouldn't go away - I arranged an appointment - his staff are very helpful and organized - communications are sent via password protected pdfs. I visited Dr Seaton in his Harley Street surgery and paid £225 for a consultation - he diagnosed it as a mole and recommended it be removed via a shaved excision.Dr Seaton is very personable and explained what would be involved in the procedure and that although the desired result would be a flattening of the mole and with a skin tone matching that around it there was a chance that it could be slightly raised and with pigmentation.A couple of weeks later I visited Dr Seaton at the Royal Free for the excision. Anesthetic was applied around the mole with a needle am d minutes later there was a quick slice and the wound was dressed and I was given advice on aftercare. I paid £190 for a consultation and £200 for the Excision + £95 hospital fees. A follow up appointment was not offered to review the success of the treatment but I was invited to get in touch if I needed further advise..When I took the plaster off I was disappointed as the main body of the mole was still there but the tip had gone I hoped that it was just swollen. It was sore and prone to bleeding for 2- 3 weeks afterwards but slowly healed but remained very red - I grew a beard to disguise it . After about 6 months it had healed but if I shaved near it (electric razor) it would become inflamed and redden. It was certainly an improvement on how it was previously but not flat and still resembled a small spot.

I was referred to Dr Seaton in June 2020 having been diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma on the side of my nose. We face timed (covid rules) and he arranged for me to have the nodule removed via MOHs surgery. My appt was arranged very quickly and I was seen at the London Clinic. Dr Seaton was calm, kind and after The surgery which had to be done in 2 stages, he talked me through his findings and I came away feeling confident.Helen

Dr Seaton cleared my rosacea, where all else had failed - a combination of well managed IPL laser and topical ivermectin (Soolantra) did the trick...Very grateful.

I went to see Dr Seaton after being recommended by an online user that he was one of a few doctors who have treated a rare skin condition I suspected I had. Dr Seaton listened carefully to my concerns and indeed diagnosed me with this condition and advised surgical removal would be most effective treatment. While I am still undecided about surgery due to my concern about permanent scarring I would still recommend him for his honesty, compassion and extensive knowledge of the skin.( I have been previously misdiagnosed by 2 other doctors with failed treatments)Dr Seaton still to this day continues to answer my questions on email about this condition which just shows how committed he is to the medical oath.Thank you Dr Seaton, your duty of care is remarkable.***Update***: 26/3/21 I wanted to give a full update on my experience to date. I decided in April 2019 to go ahead with the surgery on only a few of the osteomas (bone fragments within the skin that appear like hard papules, the condition is called Osteoma Cutis )to be removed from my left cheek as I was still worried about scarring. The surgery was a success and all due to the skill of Dr Seaton! I was so amazed it did not look like anything i feared and within a few weeks there was no sign of a scar at all. Even my work colleagues were astonished how it cleared up so quickly! So after a few months in October 2019 allowing the area to completely heal, we decided to remove the rest off my face and I have never been happier no scarring and no more hard bumps on my face! As a woman you can understand although not life threatening it gave me my confidence back and this is all due to Dr Seaton correctly diagnosing me and removing them with such precision. Due to pandemic I have had to relocate back home but Dr Seaton still continues to answer my questions just like other normal patients. I suspected I had grown another osteoma so I wrote to him and he gave me what he specifically had performed in the surgery right down to the brand of the scalpel he used so I can at least find another doctor who can perform the exact procedure if need be. No other doctor would do that .I am so grateful to have met Dr Seaton and cant recommend him enough!

I came to Dr. Seaton for a lipoma removal on my neck. I had always been advised by my GP against a removal because of the sensitive position of the lipoma (apparently close to some nerves etc), it but it kept growing and so I mustered up the courage and self-referred. Dr. Seaton reassured me about the decision and explained in great detail how the minor surgery would be conducted. The appx. 40 mins procedure went very well and the tiny incision scar has healed quickly, is increadibly neat and barely visible. I'm very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Dr. Seaton to anyone worrying about lipomas.
