*********** ATTENTION ALL SHEFFIELD STUDENTS/RESIDENTS ****************This is game, set and match. There's no Chinese spot in the whole city that can do what wild rice do. From affordable prices to quick delivery times even at peak times, there's no real place to fault.I've ordered from Wild Rice many times, and my personal favourites on the menu are the mixed vegetable curry, aubergine in black bean sauce, and the mock chicken in black bean sauce. I haven't tried any of the meat options, but my flatmates have and they all agree it's great value for money and very tasty. The vegetable spring rolls and dumplings also can never go wrong.Not to mention the great vegetarian and vegan options. There's a wide range of options like tofu, mock chicken, mock duck and vegetables to ensure that no one gets left out because of their diet.Don't get me wrong here folks. I'm not trying to say this is the tastiest, or the most incredible Chinese food you'll ever eat. But what I am saying is, if there's a bad dish on their menu, I haven't tried it yet. You don't have to worry about if one option isn't gonna be nice or if you shouldn't get a certain dish because maybe no one orders it and it's just sitting in a freezer somewhere; it's all up to a very high standard, not to mention the great value for money, with most individual dishes not being over £5.Delivery times have ranged from 30-45 minutes, normally on a Friday night. Compared to some pizza places I won't name, you're getting blessed with times like Wild Rice's times.If you're like me and you've been wanting to get Chinese takeaway but other spots in Sheffield just aren't doing it for you, this is it. Call Wild Rice and get sorted out.

The food here is so good! They have loads of vegetarian and vegan options - so far I’ve tried the vegetarian platter, sweet and sour mock chicken, mock duck pancakes, noodles and curry chips, and plan to try more when I order from them again!Allergens are clearly listed on the menu, and you can also let them know when you order if you have any allergies or requirements.Decently priced too, delivery is only £1 within three miles. Only downside is they’re cash only and not on any delivery sites so you have to ring, but that’s not much of an issue for me personally! My order arrived within about 40minutes on a Friday night.

The best Chinese takeaway in the whole of Sheffield. Used to order from here at least once a week when I lived in Sheffield but now I’ve moved away it is the only thing I miss. Definitely recommend over other Chinese takeaways in the area, this is always so flavourful and good portion sizes.

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever used. The range of vegetarian and vegan is particularly good. Bit pricey but they are quick, consistent and give you freebies over certain amounts. Portions are good, well worth the money.Be aware though it is phone only and cash only. Don't let that out you off though

Great food always ontime and the only Chinese restaurant i order from. In the last2 to 3 years they have only ever got my order wrong once which for a takeaway is pretty good.

Had yet another delicious meal from Wild Rice and meals arrived hot! So many places deliver cold food. Highly recommend. And the prices are very good.

First time trying the food from Tons of recommendations. It's fantastic. I've tried 10 or 11 Chinese in Sheffield and this is by far the best so far. The portions are gigantic. The ribs were huge and fell off the bone. The meal for one was amazing, huge rice , chicken with black pepper sauce and Chicken balls . Far too much for one person. The house chow mein had 4 different meats and veg in and it was huge too. Fed 3 of us with some left . Really good and can't wait to try more. They have alot of Thai food too

Good takeaway. But bulked up with load of onions. Hardly any pepers and large curry sauce less than half fullThis seems to be the trend pay more and get less.
