Panchos Cantina

An off-shoot from the Westcliff-on-Sea branch, Panchos is an excellent Mexican restaurant. It offers the classic tex-mex mix of tacos, tortillas, chilli and the like. All food is prepared fresh so do ask if you want it to be customised. It's a little on the expensive side but the quality of the food makes up for it. Do try the margarita cocktail, it's the best I've ever tried!

Food is so fresh lovely place to go very clean and the food is very good there thay no what there doing so its not out of a packet all done the write way Mmmmmmmm drinks are nice to lol

We got to wear the obligatory Sombreros and enjoyed some good food. One or two complained in our group but overall this place deals with stags and large groups very well and is geared to do so. My sword fish was most enjoyable, so too my draft lager 1L jug. I would definitely go back, it's handy too for proximity to the Red Door music bar.

Good food and great cocktails, although a little pricey.Go at lunchtime or mid week for offers!

The food at this place is actually really good, id give it 4.5 stars, but the managments/owners are terrible business people. On more than one occasion I have been told when wanting to order for takeout collection that they are too busy, been asked how big is your order?" in other words ifs its not a big order they dont want to know (my takeout orders are usually £20-25). As a business you should never be too busy to sell more product

I was taken here for my birthday in November. It isn't a place I would usually think of when choosing somewhere to eat but since visiting, I have recommended it to so many people. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is lovely with extremely generous portions. I didn't get chance to get a photo of my main course as I dived right in but managed to steel myself to get a photo of my dessert which was delicious.I suggest partaking in a cocktail while here as they have a great selection that I haven't seen anywhere else and if you're brave enough you can take on the challenge of downing a small glass of tequila with a 'worm' inside. If you can manage it they give you a certificate to prove you did it which is now proudly standing in my display cabinet.Overall a great restaurant which I highly recommend but remember to book as the evenings get quite busy.

Awful food; I eaten from many Mexican restaurants & cooked chilli con carne many times over the years. Theirs was more like spag bol. Complained only to be met with rudeness from the manager telling me how ‘all there other customers love it’. Clearly they don’t value their customers & I honestly don’t know how they stay in business. Stay away

Great quality food. Friendly service. Good cocktails too. My dish was too spicy for my taste, but still delicious.I deducted 1 star because they didn't have 2 items that we ordered.
