My husbands computer started blue screening. My husband had built this computer himself from scratch and it holds all our family photos and videos amongst other things that are very important to me . He died in August 22. I was extremely nervous about letting anybody near it, as it was his, but the thought of losing all of our memories made me have sleepless nights. I called Ace computers explaining the situation to Simons wife, who was amazing and totally got me. Simon came to see me that night and was really reassuring explained everything, all possible issues and all the possible downsides. The first he was going to do, was back up everything onto an external hard drive and then run some tests, he was confident that he could fix it. He returned a couple of weeks of later (there was a lot of stuff to back up) and it’s working beautifully and he explained clearly all the things he did to it and what were the possible causes of the blue screen. I also now have a physical back up of all our memories. Simon sat with me for about an hour and went through lots of stuff with me and again was really kind and reassuring the whole time, making it easy for me to understand. I can’t thank Ace computers enough they were caring, thorough and delivered exactly what I needed and asked for, without charging me ridiculous rates. The content of the computer is priceless and I can sleep easy again. Thanks Simon and team.

This is my first ever PC repair shop I've gone to and the help has been amazing!I was having problems that I couldn't solve myself (this is my first time not being able to solve it without help) after a power surge so I was super worried about my PC as you would be. I also live in Lancaster so it's quite far to be taking a tower-sized PC to Morecambe on a bus, so their transport service was really neat!I had kept calling because I was so anxious about my PC, maybe to the point where I would find myself annoying haha, but I was greeted with amazing customer service! Not one time did I feel nervous to call up because I knew they would be super nice and understanding about it! They also reply back really quickly as well through phone or messaging through Google which meant I knew what was going on at all times and never felt like I was out of loop!Would recommend highly to anyone who has a PC and needs any repairs or upgrades!

Fantastic shop full of stock which is rare now and the knowledge these lads have is incredible. I’ve been building my friend a PC for gaming on a budget and on a whim I wandered into ace for an old motherboard replacement. They had what I wanted but then offered an upgrade at an unbeatable price, the next day they did the same with a GPU. Small local business with better knowledge and prices than the big boys (Scan).
