Ashdown Manna Cookery School
Really enjoyed my half day vegan cookery course. The chef was very knowledgeable and Alex who helped throughout was also very nice. We cooked a massaman curry, moussaka and stuffed mushrooms. The chef did her best to alter the recipe for individual needs whilst also helping us to not complete finish cooking the dish so that we could take each dish home and reheating would finish off the dish rather than just reheating it. Lovely. Will happily recommend to a friend.

Ashdown Manna Cookery School
Indian Vegetarian cooking bought for me as a Christmas present. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The setting is stunning, n a farm business unit overlooking Ashdown Forest. Huge variety of dishes cooked, 10 in total. Those cooked in the morning session were eaten for lunch, those cooked in the afternoon were boxed up and taken home. Lovely teacher, who also runs a restaurant in Brighton, staff were cleaning up after all day, so no washing up!! Al in all a truly wonderful day, can't wait to book another course there.

A very well organised and professional company. I left with lots of good tips and knowledge from the Italian cookery day plus a great experience with my sister. We've managed to recreated everything we learnt on the day with great feedback. I also left my watch by mistake and they even posted it back to me! A 5* service all round!!

Ashdown Manna Cookery School
I was a last minute stand in for a friend. My only cooking experience is from following recipes out of a book. I had no idea what to expect! What a great day we had. It was very sociable, fun and the food we prepared and cooked under the guidance of Stefano was superb. This is something I'd definitely do again Thanks has to go out to the staff at Ashdown Manna for the warm welcome and the washing up!

Ashdown Manna Cookery School
I bought the Vietnamese Street Food cookery course as a gift for my son. Although he said he enjoyed it I was disappointed as he had to team-up with a stranger and share the preparation and cooking of the dishes. I had looked at other, much cheaper, cooking experiences where the 'stations' were shared and decided on this one as, from the description, I thought each individual made the whole menu.

Just completed the half day knife skills course..... all I can say is that it was sooooo much more than I expected!.... great teaching methods, lovely staff helping with coffee, cakes AND the washing up.Jack was very attentive showing great detail in all tasks....... and the food that we prepared and took home, OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Might book the same course again just for the food!! :)Thinking now about booking one of the other courses however it is pretty well booked for the near future, understandably!!! Thanks for a great Sunday morning!

Brilliant first time experience at Ashdown Manna with Alex (owner) Belle (chef tutor) and Caroline (hostess, washer up, drinks provider). Lovely atmosphere, smart set up, intimate and special. Felt really relaxed and at ease during a fun and instructive day learning Thai cooking tips and tricks. Thank you everso much guys.

EDIBLE CHRISTMAS GIFTSLovely cookery school in a small personal scale.Would highly recommend.Went on my own and felt very welcome. I bake a lot and still learnt MANY skills. We made Pecan truffles, Fudge and Florentines.
