Steve has been absolutely amazing in helping with training our 1 year old German Shepherd. After having an awful experience with a previous trainer and her issues becoming worse, he has been able to direct us in the right path. He is always on hand via phone or email if we need any help throughout the week and gives us a lot of knowledgeable advice. He gave us a detailed observation of Kahlua on his first consultation with us and was clear about how he could help us and what we would do to see positive results. He is very professional and gentle with our somewhat nervous girl. Would highly recommend to anyone (which we have done to a few already!). Thank you for everything Steve :)

We’ve used Steve of K9 Pal Dog Training to help us with our young Spinone who is the most prey driven dog we’ve ever had. Her recall was brilliant within the confines of the puppy training venue but once she was out she would chase anything! Steve has really helped us to train her - he’s really good with her and us! Training her on walks in the country with Steve has been so useful - his years of experience mean so much. Highly recommend him and K9 Pal Dog Training.

Highly recommended!Having two boisterous, teenage Border Collie dogs and having been failed by previous trainers (even two supposed Collie experts!), I was fast approaching the end of my tether but thanks to Steve and his expertise we're all getting along well and (nearly!) have two well behaved young men on our hands. He quickly diagnosed the issue with the more difficult dog as I'd repeatedly been told by other trainers that he was nervous/anxious when in fact he just needed some firm boundaries and the right encouragement. Steve has supplied just the right level of correction to keep them in line which I was struglling to get right whilst also helping me to strike the balance between correction and encouragement. One things Steve is really good at is training the humans especially my daughter who he's really helped give confidence to. Other trainers we've been to weren't so good at that bit.

Had K9 pal recommended by a friend as we had been struggling to train a hyperactive Malinois properly.Steve's experience as a police dog trainer/handler has been invaluable to us, not only in basic obedience training, but in understanding what makes the dog tick and getting inside her head. We would have no hesitation in passing on that recommendation to people needing help getting their dogs properly trained.
