Lovely place for the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have some excellent ales on draft.My only criticism of the food was that the fryer oil could have done with changing. Slight burnt bit stuck on the chips.The food itself was lovely and tasted great. My kids enjoyed what they had and myself and my partner both enjoyed our food.Prices are very reasonable for what you get and I would highly recommend a visit here.

No sausage and mash on menu. Gluten free burger average, horrid fries, and toasted hard bun. Tea, no taste. Steak pie OK, chips OK, peas always like bullets. Would've preferred mash potatoe. Was our fav place for sausage and mash, no cakes, gluten free options poor, no reason to come again.

We came in for a drink and snack. Friendly service from the bar staff especially Ashleigh ! She was super chatty.Really enjoyed the food. (Sometimes I can be a bit over done) but today was perfect. We got the grazer menu.Offered the dog a drink which was sweet. We Had a lovely evening.

Ordered dessert via app / online like staff asked. To then wait 45 min to be told they didn’t have what we ordered would we like anything else. So selected others. And then left to wait over another 30 min still no dessert. The fact one of them was a child’s dessert just awful service. I will add the pub wasn’t busy at all either. Under 50% capacity!! DreadfulBUT it’s ok as they contacted me and asked me to email my concerns…. I did … guess what!!! Still waiting on a reply from the manager… who knew!

The staff were very friendly and the pub had a great welcoming feeling. The quality of food was good too even though it was the end of a busy Sunday. They had run out of beef but the staff ensured I had a replacement which was great.

First time I've bein a couple of months. We went yesterday lunch time. We use to go quite regularly but we definitely won't be going back!! The menu has reduced and definitely doesn't have the selection it use to. Both myself and my friend have felt poorly since eating and I was sick. Given lunch (fish and chips) had been the only thing I ate, my friend had the steak pie , we presume it can have only been the food! Very disappointing as it use to be lovely.

Nice food, lovely mixed grill, and good choice for kids' meals. The only downside was that it took a while to come, and it wasn't busy at all.

After a 40 minute wait was looking forward to the mixed grill when it arrived All the meat was over cooked and very dry not the best start, chicken like a brick steak like leather dry sausages and dry gammon the nicest thing in the plate was the fried egg. My wife's pie was lukewarm you could almost slice the gravy luckily my grand daughters jacket potato was okWon't be back

Clean tidy pub. Greeted quickly. Served quickly. Good choice of food….carvery. Nicely presented. Good enjoyable food except for the beef which was gristly and tough. Good value. Very pleasant and courteous chef.
