Our experience with Plumbers has not been good. Not turning up to quote or even do the job. Above andBeyond are good, when agreed on time and a fair price. Nothing too much trouble. Will use again as ,OurPlumber.,

Great for (anxious) dog owners. I needed a full system flush so lots of noise and disruption for my two rescue dogs. Jamie took the time to fuss them both and in no time they were sleeping like babies despite all the noise. Waiting for my new boiler to be fitted as my problem unfortunately couldn't be fixed so will update my review when I'm finally warm again.

Unfortunately cannot recommendAbove & Beyond fitted an unvented cylinder in our home to replace a gravity fed water system. This has made a huge difference to the pressure we get from our taps and showers, which is exactly what we wanted.Unfortunately we cannot recommend Above & Beyond based on our experience with them. With this review I have tried to give an honest and fair account of what happened.1. The working area, and areas around it had been left dirty and the engineers had to be reminded to put carpet back. To their credit, when we raised this with Above & Beyond they came back very quickly, cleaning everything while resolving some teething problems with the new pressurised system.2. Electrical work was required to complete the installation but it wasn't coordinated with our installation date. At the time we had low confidence it would get done, so had an independent electrician complete it for us.3. Since the installation we have had a routine service from British Gas. Their engineer advised the relief pipe was too short and was dangerous. Again, when we raised this with Above & Beyond they came over the same day to resolve - which we were very impressed with.4. During installation a cable was damaged while a joist was being drilled for new pipework. We understand that mistakes happen and have no problem with that, but the response to it is the main reason we cannot recommend Above & Beyond.I was advised immediately that a cable had been damaged, but was told it was a phone cable. As there are a few obsolete phone cables in the house and the broadband was still working correctly, I did not think much more of it.However, we were having electrical work done the same week and the electrician was testing all parts of the house. It became apparent the lights in our lounge were no longer working - being summer time it could have taken us a long time to notice this. Naturally the electrician wanted to ensure it wasn't anything he had done to cause the outage, so began fault finding. If I had been advised that the cable damage could have been electrical, rather than a phone line, the fault find would not have been necessary.As the fault lay with Above & Beyond, the electrician invoiced separately which I forwarded on. Above & Beyond agreed to pay the invoice, but would have preferred it if I had given them the opportunity to fix first. I may have done this had I had confidence they could provide an electrician, but as it stood I had an electrician I trusted in the house and with it being a fire risk it felt more straightforward and safer to have it fixed there and then.A few weeks pass and the electrician informs me that Above & Beyond are yet to settle the invoice. We raised it with Above & Beyond, and they claimed not to have received the invoice. The electrician informed me that the invoice had been marked as viewed" on his system - at this point we are caught in the middle.Finally Above & Beyond contact the electrician directly but only agree to pay a quarter of the bill

Very good, came earlier than arranged.

I found him expensive for replacing a condensation pump on a Bosch Worcester boiler at £504 inc VAT. The pump was £336 inc VAT and is available on eBay for £280 retail. A 20% surcharge is applied to parts purchased by them. 2 hours at £70 plus VAT per hour for fitting seemed a long time for the job as I expect the time charge to reflect the time at the premises with travelling time etc absorbed in the overheaded rate of £70 per hour. So far as I can tell the repair has fixed the problem as the leak has gone.

Simon did a great job servicing and resolving a fault with my ageing oil boiler. He was really knowledgeable and did a thorough job cleaning it out, finishing with a complete combustion check and printed report. Highly recommended.

Tad went out his way to fit in my emergency, great job done.

Simon and his team fitted me a complete gas central heating system. They came when they said they would, they did what they said they would and left the place clean and tidy. Very happy with all they did and even when littles things did not go to plan they put it right to my satisfaction. They have the highest recommendation from me and I have no hesitation on recommending their work.

My entire central heating system was over 10 years old and on its last legs. But I couldn't afford a new boiler. Simon from above and beyond plumbing stripped my system and cleaned radiators pipes etc serviced my boiler and brought my whole system back to life! This was over 3 years ago and it's still going! Very professional service I will be using them again this year for my new boiler install.
