Shrewsbury & Newport canal

The old Shrewsbury tub boat canal. Being brought back to life. Wappenshall wharf is closed to the public at the moment because of on going restoration, north Berwick closed to the public, south Berwick up to the tunnel open. The aim is to restore the shrewsbury canal from wappenshall junction with cafe/toilets/ basin. All the way to Ditherington Shrewsbury for walking/cycling/picnic areas, one day it's hoped to restore the full length back to Norbury junction. Nice walk for people who like to explore.
