We bought two single divan bed basis online and are very happy with them. Great service and great product. The pistons weren't strong enough for our super heavy mattresses so they immediately sent new more powerful ones and didn't ask for the old ones back. Highly recommend.

Love my bed and memory pocket mattress. I have a double Simba mattress which I paid £800+, same double mattress for my new bed costed me £399 with 10 year guarantee. I would buy from British beds direct again.

Absolutely stunning statement headboard which is extremely well made and a credit to all those involved in the construction it just oozes quality and sublime craftsmanship. I was kept well informed throughout the ordering process even through to the delivery day,nothing was too much trouble they arrived on time and were very polite and respectful of the property. I would definitely recommend this company everything was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ordered a memory foam mattress online from British Beds Direct recently and it is just wow. I am so impressed with the quality of the mattress and the luxurious feel. We couldn't find what we were looking for from the stores of a couple of other well known retailers. But I called BBD and their staff were so helpful in finding me the right mattress. They had more choices available than the other retailers. The mattress also arrived sooner than we expected. All in all 10/10.

The website was easy to navigate, the initial purchase went smoothly. Unfortunately on delivery the bed was damaged and the fabric stained. We refused delivery and the nightmare has begun.Poor communication, no information, impossible to track where it is, who has it, when it’s arriving!We are sleeping on the floor with a registered disabled child. This is unacceptable.The company has shrugged off the responsibility and put it on the delivery company. But how does that help the customer. Poor poor service!

Great service and great bed. Bought an Eleanor side lift ottoman bed and the quality is amazing. The bed is very strong and there's so much storage space. The best thing about it was that I could choose the fabric, the headboard and the type of ottoman, exactly according to how I wanted it. Would highly recommend.

Avoid like the plague, poor quality mattress, only a year old and has huge troughs in, very uncomfortable, got in touch for replacement online to be told they have gone into administration and the people who have taken over are unwilling to replace it

NO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. (Please note, they have now added fake reviews below my comment here to try to fool potential buyers.)After experiencing several faults with my side opening ottoman, reporting a fault with the headboard, requesting the instructions to attach the divan base, requesting the correct screws to attach the base (!), I have had the most disgusting experience with the British Beds Direct's management team and lost all confidence in this business.Long story short, the side lift ottoman bed I researched for weeks and finally purchased will not connect - the two parts do not align and screwing them together is impossible. I had to request additional screws when we were not sent the ones we required, TWICE. See the images below showing exactly how poor the bed construction is... speaks for itself.No instructions were sent for connecting the divan base of the bed and the headboard instructions were unclear. We were sent 4 wooden blocks, presumably to space the headboard from the base so the ottoman would open/close, but received no instructions of how to install them, so had to assume.Finally, once the headboard was on, we realised that the spacers mean the top of the headboard bends backwards when ANY pressure is put on it... meaning you can't sit up in bed against the headboard without risking the struts snapping. I'm appalled that such a poorly designed item was sold to me and I'm angry that their customer service has simply ignored my emails detailing the faults and asking for a resolution. Ideally, I'd like the useless strutted headboard collected and the floor-standing headboard with the sandwich board" sent out at no extra charge since the strutted one is NOT fit for purpose and has a clear design fault
