Central Scotland Adventures

We have been out with Central Scotland Adventures twice now. A beginners class with Euan at Auchinstarry Canal and a safety day with Rab and Euan at the beautiful Loch Ard. What a fantastic day that was. Both instructors are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging and patient.My 8 year old son has had so much fun on the water with them that we’ve just booked a paddle-boarding birthday party.Couldn’t recommend them enough and look forward to our next trip to Loch Lomond with them.

My daughter and I went for a paddle boarding lesson as complete beginners. Our coach Joss was extremely friendly, supportive and encouraging. We had a fantastic experience on the canal at Auchinstarry. We even managed to get up to standing on the boards and did some turns on our first lesson. We would highly recommend Central Scotland Adventures and we look forward to doing further lessons with them to work towards doing a paddle boarding session at Loch Lomond.

My friend and I went for our first paddle boarding lesson. Being ladies in our 50s we were unsure how we would do. We both had a fabulous time. Caitlin, our instructor was very nice and patient with us. We even managed to stay on the water and not in it. Very funny and calming experience in lovely surroundings Thank you

I had an amazing experience with Rab and Jos working on a university occupational therapy project related to paddle boarding. Despite paddle boarding also being a relatively new sport for me, I found both Rab and Jos to be great at patiently encouraging my learning whilst also confidently helping me develop my skills. After seeing people of all ages with varieties of skills and abilities be so well supported and enjoying the various waters sports, I would highly recommend Central Scotland Adventures to anyone who wants to have a great experience on the water!

Amazing intro to SUP lesson and great service.Our instructor had to cancel but Rab sorted another one out very last minute to accommodate our specific schedule!The lesson itself was brilliant - Malcolm was very thorough and we’re both feeling more confident. Had our first private session with Mathew this morning and it exceeded our expectations. Not only was he knowledgable and supportive but he was also the loveliest guy and great craic too. So many new skills learnt and bad habits rectified (almost!). Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone whether brand new to SUP’ing or just wanting to brush up on skills.

Myself and my son just had a wonderful first SUP lesson with Central Scotland Adventures. The whole team were great and very helpful from the booking to the activity itself. Special thanks to Euan and Gareth who basically gave us a one on one lesson and as beginners this was amazing. They were so patience and had lots of useful techniques and tips. We will definitely be back!

Daughter a beginner at SUP, but loves it and wanted a SUP birthday party...definitely the right place! 11 very happy children, an experience they all want to repeat...parents asking for details. Everything, really everything was spot on, Rab even arranged daughter's surprise gift of her own board. Matthew and Jos excellent with the kids all felt safe and well looked after and all left really feeling proud of themselves...so much positive encouragement! In daughter's words...best birthday ever!

What a great company! Simon and I had a couple of paddleboarding lessons last year with Rab and Jos which were great so we booked a few more to get us going again this year. Rab and Jos are positive, enthusiastic and encouraging and use all their skills, knowledge and expertise to make you feel comfortable and confident on the water and on your feet! Safety comes first, their equipment is top quality and you know you are in safe hands.What a great time we have had with this company. We will certainly book again and would recommend unreservedly Central Scotland Adventures to anyone looking for paddleboarding experience whether for families or individual.

I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Inchcailloch with Rab, as part of a group travelling in canoes, paddleboards and kayaks. Rab has outstanding knowledge of the local area and was an excellent guide and instructor throughout. Central Scotland Adventures have a very high quality of equipment and are diligent in ensuring the safety of everyone in their groups. I can’t recommend them enough and I’ll certainly be back in touch next time I’m looking to get out on Loch Lomond.
