I have been working Jamie following a knee issue from an old injury. His holistic approach is focused on mind body connection /pain management and nervous system healing as well as physical therapy to treat the root cause and underlying conditions, rather than just the initial symptoms presenting.I always leave our sessions feeling a great deal of relief both physically and mentally.

I started treatment with Jamie around 18 months ago as I was having issues recovering from a broken hand. His treatment looks beyond the symptoms to the underlying trauma and is able to deliver fantastic results because of this. I've seen many physio and sports therapists before and have no qualms recommending Jamie over all of them!

I came to Jamie after over a year of a hip injury that had led to pain across my body. As a sporty person, I was pretty desperate and felt like I had tried everything but absolutely nothing was working. I’d seen multiple other Physios but nobody had been able to get my back to sport. Jamie came recommended from a friend and was really helpful even before my first session. After a couple of sessions my pain had reduced enough for me to be able to get back to some sports, and now months later I’m back running, climbing, cycling and more, and I am no longer plagued by my injury and pain. I didn’t really think this would be possible but I’ve been incredibly impressed.Working with Jamie has enabled me to understand my body in a new way - spotting things that led to the injury in the first place, rather than just focusing on fixing it. Also understanding how to process and sit with pain. All of this learning has been crucial as Jamie has supported me to get back into running safely - something I didn’t think I’d be able to do. I can’t recommend Jamie enough, especially for people who feel they’ve tried everything else! The more you put in, the more you will get from working with Jamie.

I came to Jamie with an overworked and painful shoulder - couldn't have found a better clinic. Not only did the pain go away, but I've had more energy and an overall healthier relationship with my body since starting sports therapy with BPST. If I could give more than 5 stars I would - highly recommend for anyone with any chronic pain, injuries, or a desire to optimise their health!

I came to Brighton Physiotherapy & Sports Therapy for help with pain in my knees and hips but came away with so much more. Their approach is very holistic and in just a few sessions I came away with a brand new perspective on how to look after my body with some great tips, exercises and advice as well as excellent therapy itself. Highly recommended!

When I initially met Jamie, I had been experiencing knee pain for approximately a year. As a passionate runner, the pain emerged following an intense training period. Despite visiting numerous sports therapists, physiotherapists, and sports injury specialists, none of their treatments seemed to alleviate the issue.Initially, I couldn't run at all for a few months, but over time, I managed to run up to 5k. Unfortunately, the pain would always resurface, leaving me doubting my ability to ever surpass that distance. However, after undergoing six months of consistent sessions with Jamie, I have made a remarkable recovery and am currently training for my second marathon this year!Brighton Physiotherapy + Sports Therapy adopts a unique approach that combines traditional and non traditional treatment methods with a holistic perspective, and the undeniable results attest to its effectiveness. Thank you Jamie!

Only 2 sessions in with Mark and I’m already reaping the rewards of a holistic approach to my chronic lower back struggles. There’s in depth history taking combined with hands on work and pain science learning. For the first time I really believe that I can forge a future without fear of pain and injury. Highly recommended for anyone who is willing to consider progressive methods and who will commit to doing the rehab outside of the sessions themselves.

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Jamie at Brighton physiotherapy. Jamie's expertise professionalism and genuine concern for my well-being made my experience truly exceptional. The moment I walked into the clinic Jamie's warm and friendly demina put me at ease. He set the time to the thoroughly assess my condition explaining the treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out to me most was Jamie's commitment to personalise care.Throughout the sessions, Jamie consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of physiotherapy principles and techniques. His hands on approach combined with clear communication made me feel confident in the progress we were making. Jamie focused on alleviating my immediate concerns, but also provided valuable guidance on preventative measures and exercise to maintain long-term health.I left these session not only feeling physically better but also uplifted by Jamie's encouragement and support.I wholeheartedly recommend Jamie at Brighton physiotherapy to anyone seeking expert care delivered with compassion. Thank you Jamie for making my rehabilitation journey a positive and empowering experience.

I have suffered with neck and back pain for 3 years now, and have tried other professionals such as an osteopath, a physiotherapist and acupuncturist. All of these professionals have improved my pain to some degree but it always remained there in the background.Since seeing Jamie at Brighton Sports Therapy, things have changed so much for me. He has not only helped me physically but has given me emotional support as well, helping me to see the links between my anxiety and my physical symptoms and giving me tools to help me to manage this better.I really would recommend Jamie to anyone. My treatment is still ongoing but I have so many more days now where I have no pain at all which I could not have imagined was possible before I started treatment at Brighton Sports Therapy.Very happy with the service

If you want an overpriced massage with a mere sprinkling of physiotherapy on the side then this place is for you.I had a fall, injured my ankle and was advised to seek out physiotherapy for the purpose of rehabilitation. Given the positive reviews for this physiotherapy clinic I had high hopes however I was sorely disappointed when it became clear that the emphasis of my sessions with Mark was breath work and ‘calming the nervous system‘ rather than rehabilitation of myinjury. In fact there was very little rehabilitation or strengthening work at all; instead our 1hr 30 mins sessions consisted mostly of Mark massaging (or rather poking and prodding) my ankle, legs, back and stomach, inflicting pain and just telling me to ‘breathe through it’.Visiting a different physiotherapist recently made me realise just how poor and useless my treatment had been.Think twice before booking a session here.
