I was looking for the surgery next door and accidently went into this place as the signposting is awful. The aged lady behind the counter was very rude not welcoming and when I asked her is this MGS surgery she replied no and I asked is it next door and she replied it must be". These receptionists employed by the NHS definitely don't enjoy their jobs and an awful culture has developed and they don't have a clue about basic manners. Rather then answer me politely and direct me to the right building she replied " it must be" if you are the Manager of this building and reading this and take feedback seriously please act upon it."

The wait for appointments are ridiculous I understand it’s not their fault, but the care you receive when you get the appointment is horrid. I’ve recently been in hospital due to mental health I’ve come out and received little to barely and help from them I’ve explained it’s affecting my personal life and I have been told that I wasn’t listening to the duty manager who spoke with a sarcastic tone they pretty much told me I have to wait and there’s nothing I can do other than make self referrals to other places of that nature, if they truly cared about people they wouldn’t ever treat anyone with the lack of respect and decency that get’s constantly received by the people who attend this joke of a practice, it’s ok to say go to another place but the only other places are hours away and I have no way of getting there. Long story short the lack of care which you receive is shocking, you get constantly told that you’re wrong, if you can please avoid this place it has only made my mental health worse.

Always helpful, it’s been hard to cope but knowing you can phone and talk to someone who will try their best to help is a godsend. So grateful services like this exist. Thank you.

Rude nurse on the phone, I have been waiting since Wednesday for a phone call back, I leave it until today she just wanted to go home, not fit for purpose, Mary Ogabi when I have to go to Steps To Health I don't want to see this lady under no circumstances who makes you feel worse after a phone call asking for help this lady does

As someone with complex issues you systematically over the last four years have made me feel more alone and isolated by a service meant to help. Yet there is no where else for me to go. I feel like I cannot reach out to you, even in crisis, often resulting in worse outcomes. Staffing issues and frequent mistakes in care make this a problem. Congruence & empathy are almost non existent and it’s basically a check of how you eat, sleep, take meds, and what boxes can be ticked. Medication can only do so much, but it is supportive environments, that help the most and this is not one of them. I genuinely can’t tell you how much I wish it was so there could be a glimmer of hope. Five years ago this service was helping me. However I live in fear because this is the only service keeping me at risk from harm, as my health gets worse, so is it worth speaking and making complaints? I have learnt from experience, that no it is not. Failing services are still better than no services for those of us with complex care needs, and it is sad that, that has what it as come too, but all I have.Update: services only declined. I’d rather ** than deal with duty, the crisis team, or penn hospital. This whole service is a ostracising, gaslighting, mess. Consistently making my mental health worse but it is literally all that’s available and it’s bare minimum at best. I’m so worn down I can’t even be bothered to make complaint’s that don’t get resolved anymore. You shouldn’t be traumatised by your own services, yet here I am after my last psychiatric app, I am literally begging for you to get your act together steps to health.

Disgusting service! I've been requesting talking therapy for months and keep getting told they're only there to deal with my medication.... Of which I've asked repeatedly for an early review because I'm deteriorating very quickly and instead of help and support I'm told take the medication and wait for your appointment in 3 months
