Firearm Training for Film & TV

I went with 2 of my friends in April and we are all actors. It was an absolutely AMAZING course that was unbelievably insightful and impressive. Primarily the training is in Handguns & Tactical Rifles. There are some weapons that are not modern, thrown in there too which is a nice touch. We opted for the 3 day course and earned 2 qualifications out of it; Level 1 & 2/Day 3 aka Advanced" day was our favourite because you get to apply the weapons training with actual tactics which is seriously cool. Then add in barricades

Following a recommendation, I was encouraged to attend Firearm Training for Film & TV. My background was being ex military with weapons training in addition to (when I was in the police), a demi official attachment with a Sheriffs Department in the USA I expand my firearms training with them. I am an experienced Support Artiste, with stage fighting experience, and now I have completed the advanced level of firearms training.I was not sure what to expect but my expectations have been exceed with the quality of training, the different types of weapons used as well as Live fire with vintage and modern weapons.Highly recommended as its a great course by two great guys, book it you know you will not regret it.BRAVO ZULUBenjamin & Stuart.

This training is definitely the best training I have done in a while! Ben & Stuart are absolutely amazing instructors. Not only was it very informative, fun and exciting. I also never felt more safe. If you are looking for some firearm training. Then don't look any further. This is the best place. The beautiful scenery in Wales makes it even better. I definitely recommend going for the 3 day course. You also have the chance to get a great showreel footage. This is an experience I will never forget. Best value for money and overall just highly recommend this course!

What can I say! Completed this course at the start of April and It was truly a great experience even now writing this review nearly a month later it has such a positive effect.I booked to train for the full 3 days and I wanted to recommend the advance course as its totally worth it ! You really get to use the skills you've developed over the 2 day course and really put that into practice on the third day with alot more shooting moving and honing those techniques.The course is taught by Ben and Stuart and both have a vast knowledge and understanding for firearms and weapons and are always happy to answer questions, Give advice and they also give you plenty of one on one time, to really honest those skills, posture, drills ext you never feel left behind in the training and you are always supported if you don't quite get it after a few tries.I won't give too much away but the course involves quite simple alot of cool stuff if you enjoy weapons, and firearms ranging from western weapons and WW weapons to modern day police and military you'll find everything you need.I would also recommend the showreel package actor or not its a chance to share this cool experience a chance for you to be in your own action movie.Really worth your time, I myself traveled from the Midlands and paid for extra accommodation ect even in prone position in the pouring rain covered In mud its all worth it and its a right laugh.Best wishes to all thinking about taking this course!

Superb course, idillic setting and welcoming instructor team... Couldnt recomend this course more for acquiring / enhancing your firearms skills to be safea and authentic on set.I attended the 3 day advanced course in November 23 - the course covered detailed safety practice and firearms parts / functions before moving onto learning and practicing hand pistol and then rifle drills (based upon current UK Police / Forces methods) alongside tactical movement and rotating usage between primary and secondary weapon systems. During the course we discharged a range of projectiles - including live rounds from a range of pistols, revolvers and rifles (including shotguns) - maintaining range discipline throughout... The 3rd day was the pinacle of the course, as we put into practice the prior day's training on the range - discharging live rounds from pistols, sniper rifles, tactical rifles and shotguns - the adrenaline rush from this section was awesome!I also purchased the traning hand pistol & holster (to practice at home) and showreel package...Overall, Benjamin and Stuart and their photography / video team were excellent, warm, welcoming and able to work with the range of experience and background that my cohort of students presented to help us all get the most out of our time on range.I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to start - or enhance their firearms training and knowledge to ensure they can handle firearms safely and authentically on set and screen.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I did the 3 days (level 1&2 combined) and it was so thorough. I had no prier firearms experience and by the end of day 1 to be honest, I already felt so competent. The course felt like we were all in super safe hands as well. The instructors were so welcoming and kind and funny actually. There was lots of giggles throughout the 3 days. Now I know I can do exactly what I need to on set, as I even know what firing live rounds feels like. So I can definitely emulate that in a film and TV setting. Thank you so much for making the 3 days so brilliant! Now I want to come back for level 3! I am hooked! :)

What an awesome week!The training was perfect for everything you need to know to work in the industry and more! The amount you do is well worth the money and cant fault the team! Not only was the course great but also the friendly nature of the whole thing.Highly recommend to anyone who want to know detailed in-depth experience within the firearms training.10/10

I had a wanderful time at the fire arm training for film and tv in Neath Wales.Benjamin, Stuart and James on the camera did a great job.We got to actually shoot at exploding targets. Its felt so good! I learned how to shoot with modern firearms, shotguns, rifles, pistols. We learned how to safely use them on a film or TV set.My suggestion register for the 3 day course. Learn with a group its so much fun. The team i was with, were awesome. I have gained confidence around firearms so much. Working on film set will be so much fun.

I attended the course at the start of August and did the 3-day course. The course material was really in-depth and insightful. The instructors knowledge was extremely high, and made sure at all times that safety was paramount. The 3rd day involved real life tactics going around barricades which was a really nice touch to get to know proper formations.For those who are apprehensive or have no army background, this course is a complete must.Many thanks to the instructors that made the week an experience I'll remember.
