Stop here to get Diesel on way to Seahouses. Very and I mean very Polite Ladies on the desk. Making conversation and laughing with you and taking an interest in your day. These 2 Ladies should teach other people how to interact with customers it made our stop even more enjoyable in what was a long drive from the south.

If you're staying at the Holiday Inn close by it's a handy place to get a newspaper or some snacks.

This is not about the esso station but about the Burger King on site. I wanted a cappuccino, went in, and the young lad serving was pleasant, but the coffee, let's just say that I wasn't impressed. Who makes a cappuccino and doesn't put or ask if you want chocolate on it. Apparently, Burger King, as they don't have chocolate for coffee. Then I lifted my regular cappuccino up, and it was really, really light. I took the lid off, and it was only half full. So I said oh it's only half full and I was told that it's a measured dispenser, and he would top it up if I wanted. Then, to add insult to injury, the coffee was revolting. It tasted like it had been made with grinds that had been used before. It was bitter, burnt tasting, and it tasted nothing like any cappuccino I have ever tasted. Clean your machine it may make the rank, half full cups of coffee you sell be a bit more palatable. Ps my cappuccino went down the drain, it was undrinkable. Avoid this Burger King.

Not bad, I filled my vehicle with diesel and nothing untoward happened.

It was a grubby smelly dirty place that I had to stop at because I needed a wee, staff were nice and friendly, I bought a sandwich

Avoid. Dirty toilets with no soap and no toilet paper. Staff not interested

What a handy little petrol station in Hexham and was there very early in the morning and it was open

This may be the worst place I’ve ever been! Not services but place on earth… and I’ve visited Hartlepool before! Very grim, hardly any seating to eat, two ladies toilets, one men’s and a disabled toilet that the door doesn’t open wide enough for wheelchair access.

Very convenient stop with food and toilets. Beware when paying by card or phone, I was told to press yes button before swiping, but when looking at the screen, this was a charity donation request, not a proceed with transaction request. The charity is also not listed! Very sneaky and underhand I think.
