Excellent experience, one of the best when renting a car. Everything was ready when I arrived to collect the vehicle and Shaj was friendly and efficient, bringing the car out for me and taking me through the necessary controls. Car was clean and ready to go. Equally quick turn around on the return.

Ridiculous credit check system. Rented with them twice in the past 4 months, but latest booking attempt did not accept my details for their experian credit checks and so my booking is cancelled a week before my scheduled booking.Understand it is not the staff's fault - but seriously need to consider getting alternative credit check systems if clearly one does not even work consistently.EDIT 25/1: Understand that there are processes in place; but in the instance where my details have not changed in the past few years and your credit check system can't even process such details, it is hardly correct to suggest that I did not pass your criteria checks".There is a fundamental difference when it is my credit rating vs the fact that the system can't even process the details."

Scammers. Took a deposit on my card £500 and I returned the car with full tank fuel and not a single issue. The lady approved the car saying they were happy and a full deposit refund will be made. But the robbers only refunded £443. Stole my money for no reason. I called back multiple times and they said oh yeah dunno why that’s happened and will get back to you. It’s been a month and nothing. Going to contact my bank for them to take action.

I have rented from here twice this year, arriving at Derby train station which is only a convenient short walk away. 5 stars given due to courteous and friendly staff, competitive pricing, quality car and efficient refund of deposit. I have to say things that would make the experience better - take Amex as a security deposit; the policy of returning the fuel with the same amount is a bit of a pain and involves some guesswork. I would recommend these guys.
