Big Skies - Cotswold Glamping

Had a fantastic 3 day stay here.Good facilities and beautiful views.The pitches were of a good size.Owners were really welcoming and helpful.Highly recommended.

A really lovely glamping sitein the Cotswolds, close to the Cotswolds way. Ideal for families and groups, the site itself is very pretty with a great view over the Cheltenham area, a lovely meadow and an adjacent paddock with 3 horses.The premium furnished tents have a very comfortable double bed with two convertible futons, a chest full of kitchen and BBQ equipment and oil and seasonings for cooking plus tea and coffee. There's a communal cooking tent with a gas camping stove.There is also a set of outbuildings with a shared fridge, washing up area and small honesty shop. The toilets are modern composting toilets and there are even very comfortable shower cubicles with powered showers providing hot water.Our only real criticism is that the driveway up to the site is very steep and loose, several of us had trouble getting our cars up and needed a few attempts. Paving this in some way would really help.Our group had a great back holiday break here and would happily return another time. Highly recommended for a summer retreat to the country and especially ideal for hill walkers!

Hired the whole site for a birthday get together. We had such a great time even with some rain. Amazing views and the tents have everything you need and are so beautiful on arrival! They’ve recently put up a communal gazebo with was perfect for our group to gather under. We put fairy lights up in this which worked for us but may want more lighting. A lovely family run business! Thanks so much we’ll definitely be back! Also the cider brewery (around 2 miles away) is a must visit if you stay here!!

Big Skies Glamping is a fabulous location and the hosts ensured that we had an amazing stay for the weekend. Vicki's communication at all stages of making a booking was excellent and it made the whole process very smooth. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for some fantastic glamping with amazing views :)

We had a very warm welcome in am amazing setting. The tents were comfortable and spacious enough for 4 adults. Having our own on site toilet also was a plus.The communal washing up area was often busy and there were 4 communal sockets. This didn't detract from the experience but it's worth noting if you're bringing lots that requires charging.The Saturday pizzas were amazing and the furnishes of the tents were more than ample for what we needed and the hosts were friendly and amenable the whole time.The local area is stunning but we didn't feel the need to venture too far from our spot (hawthorns) as the view was just as good!

Big Skies is a real special find! The facilities are basic but there is actually nothing missing, and the lack of fanfare is part of its charm. The location, setting and scenery is completely stunning! The bell tents are comfortable and spacious, but the real high point for us was the freedom the children had to safely run around and explore. The hosts were warm and attentive, the pizzas they offered on the Saturday night were absolutely delicious, and they were even able to cater to our many dietary requests! The showers were hot and clean and other onsite facilities like the sink, the honesty shop and the fridge were great/ welcome additions too.The site is also very close to lots of Cotswold gems such as Bourton on the Water but the real gem was Dunkertons! It’s a must! We were a large group and we will not hesitate to return next summer.

Had the most relaxing comfortable stay. The tent we were in was furnished beautifully, the bed was so comfortable and cosy. The views are terrific. Everything was so peaceful and tranquil. Vicki, Kenny and the kids were so helpful and friendly. Our weekend was just perfect.

Lovely small campsite, met by owner and given and a guided tour which is a nice touch.Pitches are well maintained and spacious. We pitched up next to the owners horse who are very friendly.Fire pit provided at pitch and wood available.Covered common area available with cooking facilities. Showers and toilets well maintained.Highly recommended and will be staying again.

Pitched my one man tent for the night, facilities were all clean and modern, and very friendly and efficient service from Vicky, one of the owners. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Perfect family getaway.Gorgeous tents with plenty of room for our family of 4. Nice comfy beds, hot showers. Beautiful views and lovely sunsets. Personal and communal fire pits and also a communal gas stove so plenty of cooking options. So much space to play outside. Loads of lovely places to visit close by. Wish we had stayed longer :)
