Bernish Viewpoint
Great views of Newry and the Mournes in the distance. The clouds made the view all the more striking when I visited. Good space for parking, though some tend to take the forwardmost three spots to sit in their cars and look out at the view. There's a picnic table area immediately adjacent to the car park and Ballymacdermott Tomb is only a ten minute walk away. Will be visiting again for sure.

Bernish Viewpoint
Both the viewpoint and the nearby ancient burial site(Ballymacdermott Court Tomb) are worth visiting. Although the sites themselves are smaller in size, the scenic views are breathtaking.

Near Newry, Co. Armagh, N. Ireland. Looking down towards the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloghogue, in the distance is the eastern part of the Ring of Gullion and the Cooley Mountains in Co. Louth. The stunning place to have a lunch or coffee time. Two tables around fully facilitated to have a perfect meal at the fresh air. Tiny parking just gif few cars.

Worth to take a little detour to this place. Few minutes drive from the motorway. Beautiful view, fresh air.There is a small car park and two tables as well at the viewpoint.

Absolutely gorgeous view! Well worth the short detour. Be advised that the roads leading to it are extremely narrow and not marked the best. (When you reach the point where you're not sure to go right or left, go right).
