Angela recently worked on my wedding dress-from start to finish Angela has been a well needed calming presence at every appointment. She’s done a fantastic job of making the dress a perfect fit with extra boning to support the structure of the dress.Really recommend, thank you Angela!

Angela was amazing from the start to finish. I saw two dresses and with the help of speaking to Angela and showing photos she designed my dream dress from scratch!I had certain boxes that needed to be ticked such as light enough to get onto a beach, something that made me comfortable to wear it (I usually hate dresses with a passion) something I could wear all day. At the end of my wedding day I was sad to take it off!I only visited once for one fitting but was able to see how the dress was looking with regular updates and video calls with Angela. Her service and communication was nothing but exceptional.I have no hesitation to recommend Angela to others who wish to have the very best working on their wedding dress or other garments.

I have used Angel’s services for many, many years, since she qualified as a Saville Row tailor.She has created a bridesmaid dress specifically to fit me (not an easy ask!), designed & made all the cravats & squares to match bridesmaid dresses for my own wedding - & altered the bridesmaids’ dresses. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with an expensive dress alteration, & as I now live nearly 4 hours drive away, Angela made the alterations to a special dress using video calls, instructing us how to measure & pin the dress as needed (this meant she could see the fitting as we did this & check measurements as if she were doing them herself) She also arranged couriers to safely transport the dress both ways between us.

I can highly recommend Angela Taylor’s services, we have used Angela for a few years now and we find her work excellent and she has such a lovely way with our customers. Angela has listened and guided our brides through their fittings with expertise and they have always commented how pleased they are with her work.

I have had a number of dresses from Angela over the years for my two daughters. The latest, a birthday cosplay costume, was made at short notice over lockdown, (we are 5hrs away a even if we could travel). The design and specifications came from my young daughter with minimal images and no pattern to work with. Angela offered a multitude of fabric and styles including options that allowed growing room to give the dress longevity too. Throughout we had ample communication, professional and respectful service with clear instructions to us on how to measure correctly etc and Angela came up trumps and delivered a dress that satisfied a very fussy customer and fulfilled my daughter's dream. Thank you."

If you are looking for a seamstress, do NOT go here! I had my bridal gown & 7 bridesmaids dresses altered. 1. My bridesmaids felt extremely uncomfortable as when getting changed as Angela just stayed in the room watching them, when I went for my turn she still remained and didnt offer to leave the room so I had to politely ask her to leave whilst I undressed.- completely unprofessional. 2. When having my dress pinned, Angela pinned incorrectly which meant her having to take a photo then remove the pins for me to undress which meant it wasn’t accurate. My dress was too tight and too much had been taken up on the length which meant I couldn’t wear heels 3. After her saying bridesmaids didn’t need a refit, I took the dresses home under good faith alterations had been done. Once they were tried on one of my bridesmaids dresses hadn’t even been altered and still had the pins in! Days before my wedding! When messaging Angela about this she expected me to drive to her so she could sort it and was very rude in her reply in telling me how great a tailor she was and where she had trained. Having losing complete faith in her abilities and with days to go, I had to take the dress to satin touch to complete the alterations she should have done in the first place ( which btw they were completely amazing and understanding had no issues there!)4. When asked for a refund for the dress she hadn’t even touched but charged me for she was very argumentative and refused so I ended up paying twice ! And not one apology through out this when I notified her of her mistakes or accepting any resp or. 5.The bridesmaids dresses she had taken up she used a black Cotton for, against a burgundy dress rather than matching the cotton to the fabric to blend in. I will be taking this further, so normal business would be extremely apology, o and would refund for the services that had not been provided. Do not waste your time and money in going here- please use an actual seamstress and not a Tailor who advertises herself as capable as doing seamstress work when she is not.
