Languard Alarms

I've been with Languard for about 23 years and have had nothing but first class service from them .Today, my decorators damage cabling to the alarm whichsent it off!A call to Languard resulted in one of their engineers coming to me within 45 minutes!Great service, thank you.

I recently moved my office alarm system to Languard and I can't praise them enough. They did a really great job of sorting out the intruder and fire alarm as well as installing a new CCTV system. The fact that they are a local, family run business means you get a friendly, reliable and professional service.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Knowledgeable and professional. We now use them for both out business and private premise's.The alarm system and cameras look good, and demonstrate a visible (but not intrusive) deterrent. Super high quality equipment with state of the art tech, giving us full remote access to camera's, microphones, and speakers, as well as RedCare & Police responseGreat value, and while there was a cheaper company when we checked, the 'saving' came by way of massively inferior equipment.Would not go anywhere else for our security systems, and have refereed to anyone who has asked us for security system advice.Only gave 5 stars as we couldn't give 6 !!

Languard alarms truly amazing, they install fantastic quality alarms, and there maintenance carried out every year is super friendly and professional .I have used them for many years for both home and business, so I thought I would write this review to tell everyone how great they are.Keep up the great work!!

Very impressed with the company from start to finish.Surveyor arrived on time, knowledgable with no sales pressure.The fitters arrived at 9:00 as agreed and had a chat with me about everything on the specification to make sure it was correct. I left them at the job and they called me later on in the day to say they were done, which they did.I was extremely happy with the work & would recommend to anyone

Cannot fault Languard from start to finish. Happy with the agreed price, the engineers were very professional and helpful, and the after sales also very good.

I am very disappointed in the service from Languard. They knew we had a problem with the alarm going off at 4pm in the afternoon, however they chose not to come out until the following day. By 9pm the alarm was going off continually and we were unable to stop it from going off. The emergency call out service did not answer the telephone for 20 minutes and we then had to wait for a call back which took even longer. This is not great service from the company.

We used Languard Alarms to install a fire alarm and emergency lighting system in the communal areas of our terraced house which is subdivided into privately owned flats. This was a pretty complex piece of work as it needed to fulfil some very specific details in the FRA, which required detectors and sounders in each of the flats. I contacted a dozen or so companies and got loads of quotes and Languard were by far the most competitive. They were very patient as I asked lots of questions in order to compare quotes/system designs and while I discussed it all with the other freeholders. They had good availability, allowing us to pick the dates most convenient for us within the FRA's time limit. The installers were friendly and did a neat job in just three days, navigating our building's complicated layout, and avoiding the hazardous pipes/wires in the cavity walls. All in all a great job and I'd recommend!

I've had my alarm for 8 years, fitted when I first moved to Brighton. I added a door entry system a few years ago. The service and quality of work throughout has been fantastic, and I was prompted to leave this review by the most recent example of service for a non-urgent alert. The engineer was out in record time, the fault cleared in minutes. Everything was handled professionally and courteously, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I'm so impressed with this great company, and their wonderful service.

There's a Languard alarm a few houses down from me and it often starts emitting a loud bleep c. every 20 seconds, day and night. The big issue is that every time this happens (or far too often anyway) it seems to take them several days , possibly even weeks, I lose track, to get around to sending someone to reset it. It's doing it right now, next to Brown's in Ship Street. Incredibly annoying and must be a serious nuisance for the people who live directly next to it. I reckon it must keep them awake half the night & they could probably sue for damages. So if you want to stay on friendly terms with your neighbours, you might want to look around for a firm with faster response time, or an alarm that doesn't keep going into annoying bleep mode!
