First time I have used this kennels and the first time in kennels for my 8 month old pup and she loved it very well cared for I will definitely be using them again

At the last minute had to find a kennel for an unexpected holiday! Cannot explain how upset and worried I was about putting my Kelpie in kennels. From the first phone call I knew she was in good hands. I’m probably their worst nightmare as I called lots of times with different questions and requests. I was 100% happy and so was she! I would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone. Thank you all very much for the kindness you showed her.

Highly recommend, was very nervous about boarding our dog but from the first phone call I was put at ease. I know my dog was happy here and that’s down to the kind people looking after her. Thank you all very much for making her feel happy

I just visited the website of Hawthorne Farm Kennels to see if they are open, following lockdown and having read some of the reviews, decided to leave my own, from much experience of them.Over a seven year period I have trusted them with my much loved Kerry Blue Terrier and wouldn’t now leave him with any other kennel. I deal with both Richard and Julie and their knowledge and care for my dog has been exemplary. This is a family run business, each member of which cares about each and every pet they take into their charge. It appears to have been a long standing business developed from grass roots care of animals generally, not for example, a retired family wondering how they can make some extra cash from their newly acquired land up here. Each and every person I have dealt with at the kennels has nothing but best welfare for my pet in mind. It’s the only kennel where my dog has been chomping at the bit to get out of my car to meet the owners.I would thoroughly recommend.

Picked my pooch up this afternoon and it was clear to see how happy and well looked after he was! He’d even had his curly coat brushed, and had obviously been fed well as there seems to be a bit more chunk to him! It was so reassuring to see how comfortable and friendly he was too with the staff member bringing him to me.The staff are so friendly and clearly care deeply for the animals, and didn’t mind me calling partway through his stay to check in on him - it was his first stay at Hawthorn Farm and his longest kennel stay so far.A massive bonus too, is the pricing… this is the lowest price kennel we’ve used, but this is not at all reflected in the care they give. Would definitely recommend!

Great! Our pets have been welcomed, and dare I say it, loved by all at Hawthorn Farm. I am reassured that they are looked after well and I am able to see exactly where they are staying. I have also benefited hugely from my chats with Richard when I collect; with guidance on training our dog to helping find a cure" for a child's illness.My only issue is that one pays for a full day whether you pick your animal up at 9 in the morning or 5 in the evening and that seems odd to me."

My puppy gizmo 9 months old had a lovely first stay at kennels for 9 nights he came out happy and was very well cared for. julie done a fantastic job grooming him. Thank you very much

Lovely people. Always welcoming. Our two large and enthusiastic dogs really enjoy their time at the kennels. They can't wait to get out of the car on arrival. Really happy with the care they receive. When we have a wash and groom, they look amazing.

Honestly one of the best kennels I have used with my two Labradors (aged 2 and nearly 3). Firstly the staff are extremely polite and professional, treat the dogs with compassion and expertise. Recently I have had a baby and needed urgent kennels for a weekend for my boys due to some complications and I cannot thank these guys enough for fitting them in not only last minute but for putting myself at ease without having to worry about my boys as well as my newborn baby. Will never use anywhere else, and will ask for another stay later this year for a weekend away! Do not hesitate to use these kennels, not one bad word to say in the 3 stays the boys have had here. Thank you again to the staff, appreciate it so much!
