I'm a frequent customer here. Always a pleasant seller and a lot of good products

This store has a good range of products, from food colouring, cake boxes to cake boards. However, it’s somewhat challenging to shop here as half the products are not priced. I asked the lady at the till about the pricing of two products, she didn’t know and had to call someone on the phone. I’d recommend they have a system in store where staff atleast should be able to look up products and pricing.

When nothing goes wrong with the order then it's ok. Sadly I had several bad experiences from receiving products which have been past expiry date (got told I could still use them and never got a refund!) to receiving the wrong products which I had to send back on my own cost. They have not honoured their discount offers several times (once saying it had expired whilst the clock on the offer email was still counting down several days until the end of the offer!) and generally there is no customer service available and they don't seem to care. Sadly there are a few items I can't find anywhere else so I had to go back and order with them again.

I have never deal with more incompetent and greedy company ever, it doesn’t take the responsibility for its own mistakes.So where to start, I ordered 16kg organic flour was waiting ages for the delivery they lied about the dispatch, after 2 weeks finally I got the flour but not the organic one.Emailed them no response so I opened the claim on PayPal, immediately I received the response that they will look at it then I received the message that I need to send the flour back on my own cost even though it their mistake!Please could you do me a small favour and please do not order form them.To Customer ,,Experience‘’ Team please follow your emails and don’t pretend you don’t know what is going on as all previous reviews are so bad and looks like is the way you treat all your customers! I will try make a formal complaint to PayPal and if not I will contact my bank as I won’t this let it go easily.To all the new customer; value your time pay a little bit more but I promise you overall you you will pay more as it is almost impossible to get a response from this company!

Excellent shop for bakers! Not only are they always fully stocked on all things baking but their customer service is impeccable! So helpful towards their customers, giving advice on how to achieve a certain look on a cake etc. really handy shop to have locally. Staff are wonderful, one of the ladies at the till could see my hands were full (baby was asleep on my arms) so she went and grabbed a few things for me and gave my other daughter a lollipop, she was so chuffed! Small things really make a HUGE difference!

So terrible. Avoid this company at all costs, there are many other cake companies that actually respect their customers. I ordered 4 baking pans but I was sent a different item (mats instead of baking pans!). They are say they’ve sent me the correct item. However since my email they have changed the product photos and description to match the actual product with the code. I had even sent screen shots so luckily I have the evidence for taking further (which I absolutely am doing as this is unacceptable and my consumer right to be sent the correct product that I have paid for). I tried calling over 20 times but no one ever answers. I also left a voicemail. I am now stuck out of pocket with items I do not want. As a small business this is not fair and I would never risk my money with them again. I urge you not to risk the same.Edit - I have now read through other reviews and I am gutted I didn’t see them before placing an order! It is clear they do not care about their customers and should be avoided.

Great experience. I always order here for my cake business. Recently I forgot to pay for express shipping, I called a day before I needed my items and they were able to fast track my order after I’d made the payment. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t get my items in time. Thank you so much for all your help.

Oh how I wish I’d also read all the negative reviews. I received 2 cake creme over 4 months out of date! Yes 4 MONTHS! 1 with no use by labels at all and one with only a very short time left. I now have to return…so add a letter explaining, repack and go to post office. I think they must be planning to send out to someone else! Thought they would just say bin the totally out of date and refund immediately with a big apology… but no they actually want it back and then wait for a refund. Absolutely shocking for a food based company! The out of date by 4 months already had another label stuck over original! Beware unless you want food poisoning!

I almost didn't order due to the reviews but went ahead as they have the Fat Daddios cake pans available for the best price I could find online. I ordered the pans and a couple of other items on a Sunday night, the order was dispatched on the Thursday and arrived on the Saturday. Items were appropriately packaged and the food items were in date as far as I can tell (an edible lustre arrived with no apparent use by date). I have given four stars only as the pans have some slight scuffs all around the top rim and because the delivery info on the website is incorrect/out of date. The site states they make an effort to dispatch within 1-2 days which wasn't honoured in my case and it also advises on mail strikes from November. Otherwise I am happy with the service and the items I received.

Awful company please avoid. They tick dispatched but don't actually pass the package onto royal mail until much later (over reviews verify this). I use royal mail from other companies and it has never taken over a week to recieve a package delivered with the 48hour service. They don't respond to emails and I'm still waiting for a refund (it's been 2 weeks since I placed the order).
