Not exactly the greatest experience I've had in a takeaway. Staff were efficient, but the food... although supposedly a curry...was bland and very average. Obviously you get what you pay for, but I'd prefer to pay more and get a meal I could enjoy.Luckily this was a flying visit and it's highly unlikely that I'll ever be back...but you have been warned.

A Meal to Remember for all the Wrong Reasons.Because Gyoza wasn’t taking orders we went on the deliveroo site and found China Garden. The food albeit nice was extremely poor quality, the duck was diced for a toddler to eat, the Singapore noodles was just a bowl of noodles and someone had forgotten to add the meat. The crispy shredded beef was inspired from Michelin and honestly the rubber substance had to be thrown straight into the bin. I can only apologise for my honest review but the standard of food suggested this restaurant is struggling to make ends meet so make up with a sorry state of ingredients. I don’t think I will be giving them a second chance.

Ordered from China Garden last night. We've been ordering from here for years and always enjoyed the food but last night's meal was so disappointing I had to leave a review.The delivery, as always was fast and our food arrived before the estimated delivery time. That's where the positive experience ended.The Hot and Sour Soup (that we've had 100's of times before over the years) was so spicy it was almost inedible.We had a quarter crispy duck, which again we've had many times before, but this time it was full of bones.The Singapore noodles were dry, tasteless and had barely any meat or shrimp in.The prawn crackers were stale and tasted like they'd been sitting out in the sun all day.And the Lemon Chicken was dry and severely overcooked.We ate the meal because we were hungry and it was getting late but it was a disappointment from start to finish.But the most disappointing part was when I phoned to complain. The guy I spoke to barely spoke English, I had to repeat myself several times and when he eventually worked out what I was saying he said he'd have the manager call me back......I'm still waiting!!Normally this place would be high on my list of recommended places to order from but after last night's experience I doubt I'll order from there again.You've lost a loyal customer of 11 years which is a real shame.

I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.

Chicken balls were PINK and gave me food poisoning!! Eat from here at your own risk!!

We just ordered from here and this is the first time I’ve found a takeaway to be inedible. The mixed starters were burnt (the prawn toast and spring rolls especially), the ribs were dry and difficult to eat, and the mains were all burnt/overcooked. We hadn't ordered from here in years as we normally go to Love Gyoza, but decided to change today and really shouldn't have. None of us finished any meals (or even ate more than a quarter of it) and every dish was dripping with grease. None of us finished any of our meals. Disappointing and a real waste of money.

Nice food. I have order mushroom rice and chicken curry. Chinese. Positive feedback.

I went there at a late night as there’s no other Chinese is still open at that time, the bad review was putting me off, but obviously I had no option so I went thereTo my surprise, the food was actually alright, the fried rice was actually quite good, chicken wings was a bit too salty, but other than that, it’s quite nice.so probably will go back again if it’s really latealso they take card payment as well which is quite good

Food is grim, absolutely covered in oil. Order came out within minutes so all pre cooked and whacked in a fryer. Also had me on the loo all night.

Apparently these are 6 ribs, what makes it worse is I went in to order and asked if they leave them whole and he said yes but as you can see it looks like 3 ribs maximum in a container, got charged for the so called large container of Singapore rice which I asked for even asked to see the size of the container and still got given/charged for the small container and the prawn crackers were the real definition of cracked!!! the rice was cold and we were just going a few doors down the road not impressed at all!
