Experience of E & D boilers.As a Building Services Engineers I was asked to oversee the installation of a new combi boiler in a family home.My experience is as follows; they turned up over 1.5 hours late with no apology, they were not contactable to check their location or time of arrival.They were asked to attend the house to survey prior to the installation day and make the occupier aware of their duties i.e. to move furniture etc. This did not happen with the result being a children's bed in one of the rooms which would have had to be moved.The engineer was unwilling to talk about how the pipework was to be run opting for a surface installation which was the path of least resistance and would have looked out of place in a modern kitchen and when challenged was unwilling to discuss other options..They were charging 2.6k for the installation therefore some1k over the current market rates therefore the occupier would have expected a good standard of installation not a 'that will do' attitude.Although they quoted for the work they had made no allowance for moving the electrical isolator which would have bee clearly part of the works.They walked away from the project when challenged on their installation.Overall I would not recommend that anyone uses a company that can walk away from a project, not meet agreed times, price over current market rates and more importantly try and get away with in my view a less than satisfactory installation method.

Came out very quickly for a busy time of the year. Lovely friendly engineer who fixed issue quickly.

David and his team are brilliant.Did the whole installation including taking out old electrical heating.And installed a new combi boiler rads and oil tank.Very clean tidy and smart work from start to finish

We use E&D boliler maintenance to carry out work at our new family home, changing/moving radiators, redirecting pipework, new cooker insulation, and other plumbing related jobs.The service we was providing was outstanding, and all the work done was done to a very high standed. Our house was built in the 1600 so it wasn’t all straight forward.Customer service was brilliant, even after all work was completed.100% recommend

Been using this company for a number of years now. The original owner David has retired now and company now passed down the family to next generation. Had a bit of a mix up with a booking but just teething problems? Really nice efficient engineer that carried out the service. All straight forward no hassle even though the boiler is getting a bit old but it works and passes it tests every year. No unnecessary pressure to do an upgrade because of this and that.

BOILER INSTALLATION. We have just had a new ‘Grant’ boiler and hot water cylinder installed by E&D Boiler Maintenance Limited from Rickinghall and we are delighted with their service. Ed and Reuben are very knowledgeable and helpful. They made an excellent job of the installation at a very competitive price and were really tidy and clean workers. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

Ok installation, but left job with leaking system (they did boiler only) and when challenged on quote changed story. Won't use again that's for sure.
