I was looking for a replacement lock for an antique bonheur-du-jour. The bonheur-du-jour has two cupboards, both cupboards should have had locks, but one lock was missing. So I needed a replacement. Unfortunately suitable locks are no longer made. After much searching i found Keith Carrier and Sons. Neil carrier immediately recognised the lock type and provided a sensible quotation for a replacement. They then not only custom made a replacement lock that fitted the bonheur-du-jour perfectly, but also provided new keys that fitted both the new and remaining original lock, all within a couple of weeks. A truly excellent and very professional service combined with excellent coms and a speedy turnaround.

Called Keith Carrier and son out on Monday 28 October 2019 when my front door lock would not lock/unlock, he came to ours straight away as I was due at work a bit later, within the hour my lock had been changed and was working perfect, he also noticed that one of my door handles was broke, he did a repair on the handle which again now works like a new one and he also lubricated my door locks all this was done at a VERY REASONABLE price. I would definately use again and would strongly recommend his services, 5* from me.

Really professional family business. Keith made a new key to suit a very old lock from a grade 1 listed house we had. The service was 5 stars and i would highly recommend.

Neil just rebuilt a heritage lock for our Grade 1 listed church and made new keys. His helpful attitude and advice was most welcome and he undertook the work much more quickly than we expected. Skilled craftsmen such as Neil are invaluable.
