Big Bird Nursery

My daughter has sensory processing disorder and struggles with transitions and new experiences. But the staff at Big Bird are all so accommodating, kind and understanding that my daughter adjusted extremely well to nursery. They're all very friendly and full of energy and joy. My daughter is smiling and excited every morning to go to pre-school. Will highly recommend them!

My son has been in this nursery for a few months now and he loves it. All staff are lovely and have great way with kids. We really like the Famly app which allows us to see when he is eating/sleeping etc. The ladies are great in communicating with us and I’m really happy that my son gets developed each day by different kind of sensory and educational plays. Couldn’t recommend this nursery more!

My son has been attending Big Bird Nursery for almost two years and has loved every minute of it. The team are very helpful, professional and responsive. They demonstrate excellent care and attention to each child individually and provide regular updates so you can see what your little one has been up to during the day as well as how they are developing. Highly recommend.

We were made to feel welcome at Big Bird from our very first visit. All the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and nothing has been too much trouble. We were delighted with the settling arrangements despite COVID still playing a part in the day to day running of things. I felt very comfortable seeing the staff care for all the babies and was impressed with how child-led the environment was for the very youngest age group. The room is welcoming, accessible and is regularly adapted to keep it fresh. The activities are well thought out with consideration for the age/stage of development. It was very obvious that my baby was happy to spend time there and he seemed to come on really quickly once settled in. I love seeing the app updates each day.

My children recently started in Big Bird Nursery, in Tweenies and Pre School group. Both of their settling process is going very smoothly, the ladies are very friendly, knowledgeable, the environment is warm and welcoming. We’re happy as it seems our children enjoy their time in the nursery and even after a week they’re looking forward to go again. I would highly recommend them.

Big Bird Nursery was highly recommended to me by many people and I can honestly say I agree. They have great staff who are friendly, supportive, caring and have a wealth of knowledge. Communication is great between the nursery and parents. Not to mention the kids will never be bored with the vast variation of activities put on daily for them. X

My daughter has been attending Big Bird nursery since July 2019. She loves it. She settled in really quickly after being at home with me throughout lockdown.The staff are amazing, really attentive and caring. My daughter has built up a close bond with the nursery staff and I know that they genuinely care about her. They do a wealth of fun activities and spend lots of time outside learning and exploring. The food options they have are amazing and it’s varied and healthy.They staff and management are a massive support to me as a first time parent and are happy to discuss any area of concern I may have for her. They work with me to give my daughter the best possible start in life and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.If you have a choice I would highly recommend sending your child to Big Bird nursery . To sum up she is well cared for, well fed and learning while having fun. I couldn’t ask for more.

My son has been in big bird nursery since he was 10 months old. The staff are fantastic with him, he is always so happy to go in and the mornings, not so happy to leave though. He has learnt so much in a few months, I would never even consider sending him to a different nursery even though we don't live locally.

The staff at Big Bird Nursery are very attentive to my daughter's needs and have made her feel very welcome since the first settling in session. We receive regular feedback on how my daughter is getting on which gives me the reassurance that she is enjoying her learning experience at the nursery. Each day at Big Bird Nursery seems to be full of fun and interactive activities which my daughter thoroughly enjoys. We have seen her confidence grow in just a short space of time with Big Bird Nursery.

Big Bird are and have always been amazing. Both of my children have attended, my eldest from age 2 and my youngest from 1, and have both enjoyed their times there. It was certainly emotional when my eldest transitioned to school as the staff and management are wonderful. My youngest still attends and always goes in with the biggest smile and joy. We love being part of the Big Bird family!
