Angélina Jandolo Dance - Islington

I have just been to my first taster adult ballet class and absolutely loved it. The teacher was welcoming, the fellow class mates were lovely and the dance exercises were varied and fun with a good level of challenge! It’s a great dance space and I’d definitely recommend to anyone wanting to take up ballet (again or for the first time)!

I went to an intermediate ballet taster session after not doing a ballet class in years and loved it! Dinity, the teacher, was really enthusiastic and welcoming and I can’t wait to go back for the rest of the half term!

As a member of the ballet class, my daughter is very excited and happy. According to her, the teacher is very kind and the lesson is very enjoyable. Having tried other studios and been disappointed with their services, I'm very pleased with my daughter's feedback.

Great classes and teachers. I was unsure to start dance lessons as an adult but the teachers were great even for beginners. The administration side is smooth, easy and the people very nice. I would 100% recommend this school.

I went to one of the adult ballet classes at Angelina Jandolo Dance and absolutely loved it! I haven't danced in a few years and was a bit nervous, but the teacher was very welcoming and made me feel instantly at ease. Very easy also to book beforehand. Can't wait to be back!

Our 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this ballet dance class ! I would happily recommend to other parents who have a keen little dancer at home like us.

I really enjoyed the adult beginner class at the studio. I was a bit nervous as it was my first ballet class ever, but felt very at ease - the teacher was lovely, very patient and friendly. I enjoyed that we were a small group as well so she had time to look at our postures. I definitely would recommend this class.

I have been taking private lessons with Angelina for several months now and not only have I noticed a change in my physique and posture, I have gained confidence within myself. Angelina has a way of being exacting in her tutorial style, whilst being supportive and downright enthusiastically praising when you get it right. I’ll certainly be sending my son to her ballet school when he is old enough.10/10 would recommend! Dancing has truly brought me real joy and I look forward to my lesson every week - thank you Nina!

I took ballet classes at this school for two years and enjoyed the instruction from Elettra and Will. However, I was disappointed with the management.I was initially excited to additionally take the Monday class, but the teacher was temporarily unavailable and was replaced by a teacher whose teaching style I did not enjoy. I expressed this feedback to the owner, but she took it personally and became defensive.On another occasion, I arrived at my usual Saturday class only to find that it had been cancelled because no one had shown up to open the school. I waited for 20 minutes, but then left. When I got home, I sent an email to the owner requesting a refund for the train fare I had spent traveling to the school. The owner refused to refund me, saying that the cancellation was due to an issue with the studio.I was disappointed with the owner's response and felt that she was not taking responsibility for the situation. I replied to her email saying that I would not recommend the school to others.The owner then banned me from taking classes at the school and refunded me for the whole term, but I felt that this was done in a retaliatory manner. I believe that the owner is unprofessional and does not deserve to run a dance school.I would recommend that other students look for a different school.
