Matthew, James and the team were complete professionals throughout our renovation. They understood our vision and specific requests, managed all aspects of the project, kept us informed of progress, completed the works within the original estimated timeframe and, most importantly, the work was completed to a really high standard. We couldn't have been happier with their service from start to finish.

Squeaky floor fixed in Shower Room, wash basin removed and replaced with a new basin and storage cabinet, toilet removed and replaced. Matthew managed the project as well as doing the joinery and in addition to the above, he neatly enclosed all visible pipework with quality wood. Despite the confined space, the joiner and plumbers coordinated their work well.Admin was not a hassle, with prompt constructive replies and was kept to a minimum

I’m so pleased I have chosen MJ Joinery. I required 9 new internal doors and 2 wardrobe doors to be replaced. Matthew visited and noted all the details of my requirements down to the design of the door I would like. New hardwood front door for an Edinburgh tenement building. Matthew gave honest and practical advice on exactly what was needed and the price was competitive. When the work was done, the quality of the materials was excellent and the work carried out by Nathan was done in a professional and friendly way and on time. I had old case & sash windows removed, replaced with pvc turn & tilt windows, new worktop & splashback installed. Matthew talked me through different options for the work I was looking for and found the best option for me. Nathan and Tom were really professional, they arrived on time each day and always made sure my home was left tidy and clean at the end of the day. Nathan ensure I was kept up to date with the work going on and consulted me on any amendments that were required, as well as suggesting additional changes that made a real difference such as the extension of the splashback in to a corner.
