Trent Valley Windows

So, so disappointed by this company, particularly when we had a good experience previously and was the reason we came back for another one of our windows to be replaced.This time, our window installation took 4 attempts over a period of 2 months due to damage to the frame which had to be rectified, and Trent Valley’s surveyor getting the measurements wrong so the window was not what we ordered.It took TV over 2 months and 3 further visits to rectify the issues. During that time we were left with a poorly sealed frame so we could hear every little noise from outside (particularly annoying when we had ordered noise reduction glass), and in the midst of winter it was cold in our house as a result of Trent Valley’s negligence.Their customer service was appalling; we were left having to chase them and I even had the phone hung up on me because the woman on the other end couldn’t hack all of the complaints she was getting. Perhaps if you don’t want to deal with complaints then Trent Valley should sort their s**t suppliers out and actually deliver on the quality products and service that they promise, and not leave their customers waiting for a resolution and having to chase and escalate due to poor issue management and customer service. Either that or learn some empathy so you can understand why customers get annoyed with you when you leave them with something no better than a hole in the front of their house for a month, and having to patch up plaster work that you didn’t because your fitter “wasn’t told it needed doing so don’t have anything on the van to repair it”.I will never be going back to Trent Valley again, which is a shame for them considering we have 6 more windows and a front door to replace...

This was a conservatory glazing replacement including the roof scheduled for two days in January 2023, it took two months to complete!The job should not have been started on the designated days due to yellow weather warning for torrential rain but it was! Problems with the manufacture of key parts resulted in the new roof being immediately removed and eventually refitted and problems with the supply of wrong and broken glassed units resulted in further delays.The fitters did their best and worked hard well into the dark evenings, but not arriving till mid morning lost valuable light hours at the time of year.Eventually all problems were resolved after several weeks and visits and we are now satisfied with the end result.

I had my double glazing windows installed last week and I must say that I am delighted with the service provided. The men who installed the windows were lovely, professional, polite and efficient. They worked so hard all day long and the windows look fabulous! A bit of plastering was needed afterwards but I was contacted by the plastering company very quickly and they did a great job! Would highly recommend!

We had a new porch & front door and six replacement windows fitted recently and we are very pleased with the result, which has undoubtedly enhanced the look of our house. The installation was not without a few small teething problems but they were very quickly rectified by the company without any quibbles whatsoever. We mainly dealt with Emma in the Nottingham office and at all times she was polite and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend this company.Fifteen months later we have had the rest of our windows replaced and one again an excellent job has been done. Highly recommend this company.

Three of the four windows were the wrong size so had to be re-made. However, this was done within a week, which helped with the frustration. The fitting was done professionally, and the replacement windows were adeptly fitted within one day. The men returned the next day due to an oversight re. the white plastic ends to the sills.However, we are pleased with the outcome, and as we have used Trent Windows before, we were again satisfied with the workmanship and the completed appearance. We have already enjoyed warmer insulation from them in this cold weather. Our thanks.

Sales side of things standard. After the deposit money has been taken the service took a massive nose dive. The quoted 4-6weeks from order to installation turned into ten weeks. No-one answers the phone. Only the poor chap who had sold me the window in the first place ever got back to me and he couldn't really help that much because things had moved to the 'Installations Team'. Multiple cancelled installation appointments. The window is now fitted but the sash at the top is missing the hook to be able to pull it down. The installers also made a mess of my newly decorated hallway walls by not taking care during the installation. I would definitely not recommend this company.

A good quality installation by TVW.Scott who installed the composite door and French doors was polite, friendly, explained everything, did a top job and turned up as planned. He used dust sheets and vac'd up after himself. He was particularly patient with my 93 yr old mother.Thanks ScottAlso a shout out to Mike who provided the quote, again polite, professional and patient.Overall a good experience, and this is the 2nd time we have used TVW, won't go anywhere else.

Had an orangery built 9 1/2 yrs ago. 10 yr warranty. Rang last week to report a fault. Guess what site got same logo. Quoting 30yrs experience but original company no longer trading so warranty useless. Had problems all along and paid out several thousands of £'s to resolve when despite several attempts Trent Valley couldn't fix. Really regret ever using them.

I would avoid using this company for any window installation that includes building work.It's been over 12 months since Trent Valley started work on our conservatory/orangery construction. After initial delays getting the glazing products from their suppliers, and poor weather the work started several weeks late.Construction work was generally OK, although again there were delays as there recent acquisition by another company meant most of their contractors are based in Yorkshire, staff shortages (contractors going off to work on other projects) and generally leaving a mess. When complete, works to make good the surrounding decking were not carried out as agreed.However, since the work has completed, they have had to return 3 times to re-hang the French doors so they close properly, 2 times to change the handles on the doors and windows to the ones we actually ordered and 3 times to fix the guttering. Even after that, we continue to have serious issues over a leak through the roof and windows which is affecting the plastering, paintwork and flooring we installed after they signed off the work as complete. Their approach to fixing the issue is to spray some waterproof fibreglass over the holes in the hope it fixes the issue, but it continues to leak.I have sent 2 emails to their complaints department that have been unanswered, and so far have no plan for a resolution to the issue. Hopefully a public review may result in some positive action.

Today we had an issue with a patio door. This was solved by one of Trent Valleys excellent engineers who visited us today. Sometimes the proof of a good service is how issues can be managed and quickly resolved. We could not have expected a better response. Thanks to everybody at Trent Valley windows who assisted us. Very pleased.
