The food was amazing, customer service top tier and, the quantity is a lot and so affordable. Got the 5x chicken wings with chips and it took me 2 days to finish it (haha)

Really really nice food here. The fish was fantastic and the battered chips are another top choice. Didn't rate the battered sausage so highly, but the sausages themselves are nice. We'll definitely be revisiting regularly from now on rather than getting delivery from other places

Really enjoyed our meal. Chips were cooked just right. I had a pie and the rest had battered sausage. They loved the sausages.

Medium chips, battered sausage, saveloy and curry sauce x2 and every mouthful was delicious! Generous portion of chips come served in a box so don’t get sweaty like some others. Batter on sausage was very light and fluffy. Curry sauce was a standard chip shop style, I went for large at £1.50 and it was a decent size tub that lasted the whole meal. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Our first choice chippy in the area.

After driving past many times, I decided to try it out on this occasion having read some reviews. Lo and behold, it turned out to be one of the best chippies in town. Lovely crisp chips and a tasty slab of cod with a crisp batter. I'd also phoned them beforehand to find out what oil they fried in - palm oil. Friendly service. I'll go back next time I fancy fish and chips.

My partner phoned me tonight on her way home to ask if I fancied fish and chips for dinner. She said she was parked up outside the frying Scotsman in whipton. Luckily I said yes and believe me this got to be the best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time. She said the staff were polite and helpful with excellent service.

Fantastic fish and chips, good portion sizes, and reasonably priced. Tracey and the team are very friendly and helpful. The decor and cleanliness makes a pleasure to visit. This is definitely going to be our local from now on, going to try the chicken next time.Thank youJulie Green

Lovely Fish and Chips. Curry sauce is a little bit of a let down compared to other places. Offers a good range of options on the menu and pricing isn't too bad. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is due to the bad organisation of orders, if someone just pops in for just a portion of chips, I'd expect them to get served before me and my large order.
