I worked at Amazon EDI4 through the pandemic lockdown from May to August 2020. Started with an agency called PMP who lost their contract so I was subject to a process called TUPE. It basically means my contract of employment was transferred from PMP to Adecco. In my 3 months with PMP I had accrued 5 days holiday and was in the process of planning a weeks break to get a chance to visit family in Dumfries and get a few things done like my car mot'd now that places are opening up and things are getting back to normal, basically have a break from Customer Returns Sortable because it's a mind numbing job. Had to alter my plans when I found out that part of the Tuoe process involved me losing my holiday entitlement. Only found this out 48 hours before the deadline for using my holidays. Put in a last minute request to use 4 of my 5.3 days holiday to have a break. Filled in the paperwork and was told to come back 24 hours later for a decision. Went in on my day off to find out if I'd been granted my holiday only to be told they had lost my application, PMP no longer exist on site and that Adecco have no record of my application. I asked if I could re apply only to be told I don't have any holidays to apply for. Adecco said I that I was getting paid for my 5.3 days so what's the problem?Nice thing to do when I've worked through lockdown, processing all the garbage people send back to EDI4, wearing a mask for 9 hours a day and risking my health mixing with so many people in the building and my reward for that is just as I want to take my holidays to get a few things done I have them swiped away from me.So I said forget it, I'm not working for this company. Now weeks later I'm still waiting to be paid my lye week and am unable to contact anyone at the company. Ive got 5 different phone numbers and no one answers any of them.

Been working for them for 4 months, always on time, never had 1 sick day, always did overtime, then had a couple of drinks with mother for mothers day, not in the least bit drunk and got sacked on my day off ironically. Guy that escorted me out admitted he had done it several times but never been caught. Wouldn't mind but amount of people on drugs there got away with murder and I went out for mothers day as a one of , makes me sick. Shambles of a company, no brains between the lot of them.between adecco and Amazon I dont know who has more than half a brain cell
