Pride Park Park-and-Ride

Lots of spaces, a good bus service. A bit confusing to use and nearly got the wrong bus back.

Plenty of parking next to wildlife reserve and close to arena and football stadium. There were a few blue signs leading to the bus stop, but not easy to follow. The bus stop is at the entrance to the arena, overlooking the stadium. It is an ordinary bus stop and the car park is part of the arena parking, so dont expect a self contained set up as in other cities. Also its a normal service bus that you get on

Easy to access and parking spaces. Better signage where to pay. 10 minutes bus ride.

The signage is useless it is hard to see and when you do see them they send you in circles.

This was easy to find but once we arrived, there were no easily visible signs for payment stations (we saw only one machine) or where buses actually stopped. We asked two people where we would find the actual bus stop. The first person said he walked his dog through that area most days and was regularly asked where the bus stop was- he had no idea! The signage is so small and insignificant, it is very difficult to read. We found it by accident. It was a quick ride into the bus station and it is an excellent facility - but we felt it was so badly presented, that perhaps the iCouncil want to discourage people from using the service!

Don't bother with this. I paid for my park and ride. There were no signs for how to access the bus from Pride Park. I found a bus stop bit after a waiting very long time there were no buses into Derby. I had to walk which was exhausting Never again.
