Sussex Street Post Office

Good if you need to send letters or parcels at a Post Office after 6PM. Almost all Post Offices shut at 6. This place is open until 9PM on weekdays. They are opened till later on weekends as well. They are also a reasonably stocked convenience store.

Great service as always. The fact that they are open Saturday is also handy!

Incredibly disappointed, after walked for 1.2 miles as it's the only post office open on Sunday, they told me we do not accept large parcels, mine was 40cm by 20cm by 20cm, we only accept small ones like letters, because the royal mail driver doesn't take them ......, i observed in one corner parcels bigger than mine was, he said those are special delivery .....

A woman served me at the till. She scanned 3 amazon items to return in front of me but didn't stick any label on any of them. She then refused to give me a proof of return and got very defensive. As she had no proof to give I asked her to give me back the items she just scanned and she refused to give them back to me. She got even more aggressive and ordered me to call Amazon on the spot because she couldnt do anything about it. Months later these 3 items never reached Amazon.How a person can be so unprofessional and aggressive and still be running a business is beyond me. They really need to shut it down. I got no sympathy for people like that.

Unprofessional and unreliable. They can’t find parcels delivered to them as it is too much work for them to check. Package sent back after a while… use a different post office for any redelivery or shipping

Wanted to share my experience but it was completely different from what some other people have described. Delivered a largish parcel - the size of a large shoe box on a Sunday (at 1pm) and didn’t have any problems. Very quick and staff were very pleasant. Not sure if it just depends which staff member you get but I didn’t have any problems. Very useful to find somewhere open on a Sunday - it’s the only one anywhere near me.

While the kiosk closes at 10pm (as google maps says), the „post office“ closes at 9pm, meaning that the employee shuts a small plastic window on a big plastic screen and tells u in a ridiculous way, that „the post office“ already closed. He doesn’t even sell stamps after 9pm, even if they are laying on the counter next to him. A really unpleasant way of treating customers.

It is written that they accept Amazon returns and I walked all the way to there with my printed QR code and they do not want to take it.
